「はなさない」
僕を離さないで～Never Let You Go
淡々とループするようにギターが固定された主題を
何度も繰り返し演奏する傍ら、
バンドの前線とリズム・セクションが
それぞれ担ってきた役割を逆転させたような
リズムの組み立てが微妙なニュアンスを浮き立たせる
構築性の高いアレンジ。
フィードバック・ノイズを孕んだ
激しい音が弾き出される静から動への転換が印象的で、
ビートのアクセントを変えたりリズムを伸張させたりしながら、
あらゆる強弱と感情を表現する、
静謐と喧騒を併せ持った叙情性のある鋭角的なサウンド・メイキング。
光と彩りと影が微かながらも絶えず変化し、
聴き手の耳の傾け所を変えてゆくように。
また、簡潔に言葉を積み重ねて行く歌詞は
一見個人的な関心事でありながら、
ある種の哲学的な意味合いも感じさせます。
不条理な社会状況に対する違和感なのか、
内に秘めた熱情を沸き立たせながらも
抑制の効いたクールな味わいが滲む
思索に満ちたラブソングがまたひとつ、誕生しました。
この雨が上がるまでは、君の手を離さない。この歌詞は甘酸っぱいようで、震災やコロナ、ロシアによるウクライナ侵攻を経た今の時勢に合ったメッセージとして響く。僕も、大事な人の手を離さない。
すごくいい。アナログフィッシュはいつだっていいけどやっぱり今回もいい。
Took the liberty of translating to English, since I can't find anything else online.
I'm not fluent, so my tools were the Japanese lyrics available, Jisho website, Google translate, and my own limited ability in Japanese grammar and kanji. And, of course, the words as sung by the band.
-Tried to keep it from getting too poetic due to my limited knowledge- Google translate is far too literate. :) (EDIT: Okay, not gonna lie. I got really poetic.)
So, enjoy. If I need tutoring somewhere, feel free to offer. :) This song really is truly beautiful. I feel glad that I understand it at least a little bit more, now. I hope that my own feelings didn't color the words too much.

(Translator note: Some of the lyrics use different kanji, depending on which source you use. This may be due to some websites that have the lyrics being Chinese-run, so they use more conventional characters for "僕" and "後". However, I think it's worth considering that the alternate character I found for "I" in the chorus of the song ("boku") translates to "servant", and that is also a disused meaning for the kanji that is used in Japanese.)
(Regardless of that, the word for "I" in the chorus of the song is severely emphasized, both in tone and grammar, and I think maybe deserves a more apt translation.)
