I like the width on the tusk rack bars for the reason you mentioned. I’m new and ride solo. So I would want to not pick the bike up from flat or keep it off me(pinning) if it goes down on my leg.
I was wondering, do you have any problems with your legs touching the engine guards? I am 6'4 and it seems like it might block my knees. Anyway, thank you for covering the installation process.
I just installed mine and had a problem with one of the bolts on each side. All went in easily except the one bolt on the top. I couldn't turn it anymore and there's like a half inch gap. I tightened all the other bolts and the thing is rock steady. Did you run into something like that?
It looks like you have the T. Rex skid plate mounted with the ktm factory engine guards.. is this correct? The T. Rex website states that their skid plate does not work with the factory engine guards.
Thx for the nice vid.........those bars do look really well designed.

They are a fantastic setup for that very reason. Thanks for tuning in!

Have not ridden since install. I will provide an update in this series once I do.

I did not have any of the problems you described. Did you follow the instructions on the t rex website??

Check out the playlist I created for this build series. I covered that information in depth in the install video.
@@SeanFillner I see now... just some trimming of the factory guards.
How do you like the T-Rex bash plate and engine guards?
@@tomfagro6744 I liked t rex products so much I installed them on all of my bikes.
Can these fit a Svartpilen 401?
I covered them in my svartpilen build series playlist.
How heavy they are?
(In my best Yoda language) 8000 pounds... worry about weight I shall not....
Nice protection
Just to much extra weight for me
They weigh less than 4 pounds. Are you trying to win a race of some sort?
