- It's finally time to switch up the look of our shop WRX by installing a set of brand new Option Lab R716 wheels! In addition we upgrade the performance of the car by replacing the old Hankook RS3s with some fresh Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires.

I love it. I just picked up a WR Blue WRX and have been looking for new wheels. This is how i want my setup.
I’m running the same model but in the matte bronze color with my WR blue 18. I put 265/35 tires on stock suspension. A small drop with coilovers will be the cherry on the top. Thanks for offering the flash sale on these rims a few months ago. My bank account also says thanks.
Do the tires rub at all?? I have a 2015 wrx that I'd like to do what you did.

I just got similar wheels but like a dark metallic/black. Mine are the Option Lab S718’s. Same spoke design but the ones I have have a little dish/lip to them. Love them so much.

I love the look but I'm a bit of a noob. Could anyone explain what the comments at 5:55 mean (camber adjustments, lower control arms, etc. ) for someone who's running a stock '16 wrx? Thanks in advance.
These are ways you can adjust your cars alignment specs. Aggressive wheels will require more adjustment in order to fit without rubbing. email us at sales@subispeed.com if you want any specific advice about your setup!

Amazing dude! They look 1,000,000x better. Who cares if it’s been done before, sometimes it’s better to look nice than look different, the original wheels didn’t suit the WRB AT ALL!

What are the degrees of negative camber F&R subiespeed ?? Do the fronts rub at lock? Help us make them fit!
haven't gotten an alignment since our adjustments but it seems to be around -3 with rear fenders rolled

Yes, ARP extended studs.

@@frentsy534 no, extended studs are usually used to install spacers plus these are stronger than the oem studs
I have the same wheel specs and I’m ready for new tires. How much camber it needed to make it work?
somewhere around -3 should be sufficient, you may also need to roll your fenders

so you drove to the tire shop and back on 10yo summer tires even after telling us to check our tires...whaaa? out of all the (great) wheels you have at your disposal/finger tips' you choose Option Lab...didn't see that coming. The color is fine, the +35 offset is not, in my opinion. For 9.5" wide on a WRX/Sti , I like a +40-45et. I'm not a poke or stretch fan. Yes, only a 5-10mm difference but your not forced to run a 255 or less tire to avoid rubbing and fender rolling. Where are the old wheels going?

Why do all that for it to be used as a show car?
The old tires are 10 years old? Good ... Then there is no justification to be gentle on the track, and send them to tire heaven on a trackday.
