Interesting comment about the remaining GRIP damper. I took it as there have been some running changes within the GRIP damper for this year but they don't want that info to overshadow the new series of dampers.
Side question - are Fox dampers in general drop-in? Just wondering if I buy a new one and do a lowers service on my Z1 if I can swap in the new damper at the same time…
any word on how the sl damper rides compared to the fit4? seems they went backwards with offering low compression on the fit4 lockout version compared to the open closed of the grip sl
Be aware of any replacement like that. I’ve got a chat in a recent bike festival and i did the same question to the guys in the Fox booth. They told me to buy a new fork because of new bushing and other technical stuff that differs inside the stanchions.

That with the new rhythm 36 having the ability to add mud guard and lower bleed valve, I don't see I'll really need anything more.
Any chance for a new 40 vs Boxxer test? The Boxxer is great, curious to hear if Fox managed to beat it.
Thanks to Fox for the Service politics ❤

can the grip 2 damper fork be retrofitted with the grip x? (fox 36 factory grip 2)
Yes. Gonna cost a few hundred bucks.

@@daddycool2021 Bushings should work as well, but are not necessary.

@@daddycool2021 thats a good point.
Change the X2 shock design so customers can rebuild it at home!
Thats more gold then Trump's bathrooms
Dislike the new lower color 😅
I don't like it either, but I have a feeling it's one of those things that will grow on people.
On the right bike I can see it work. Maybe something that's British racing green that doesn't have a bunch more gold accents all over it
The gold is special edition 50th anniversary and not available yet. The standard black and orange are still available
What happened to the brown?
