Great show, guys! This is why I came back. As you know, I sold all my Black Series figures. I didn't have a single one. I missed it too much though. I missed your channel too much. I'm starting from scratch, again, but I'm being more discerning with my collection. So far, I've got three figures and I rejoined the channel. I've been an action figure collector coming up on twenty years. I've watched a lot of UA-cam on the subject. You guys are the best. I even put your channel above Shartimus Prime's. I'm looking forward to a lot of great Black Series figures for 2024 and a lot of fun on Out of the Basement.

Justin 'flailing' at 23:15 is probably one of the funniest things I've seen all year. In fact, that whole end montage was brilliant! Excellent video! Lots of stellar figures this year. Yes, there were some flubs, but overall, 2023 was great for TBS. Here's to 2024!!! Happy New Year, everyone!

Malgus is definitely the best of 2023, but Padawan Ahsoka is my favourite. Hoping for more SWTOR and KOTOR figures in 2024!
Just found your channel recently, really enjoying it. There is so much over the top, relentless negativity about Black Series its really refreshing to find a channel that doesn't give Hasbro a pass when they screw up but doesn't just reflexively hate everything either.
I appreciate comments like this! So glad to hear that's a sentiment with people discovering the channel. I never understood that part of the toy community. A hobby they willingly choose to be a part of (who can stop at any time) and they just keep buying and keep collecting despite being pissed off all the time. The over the top negativity and toxicity is something we never want our channel to be associated with. Yeah Hasbro, like any corporation, "messes up" all the time and we point it out...but the moment we stop enjoying the line is the moment we quit the line. I don't understand why so many people continute to torture themselves being in a hobby they clearly hate?!? -Justin
@@OutOfTheBasement Exactly. Especially when they start torturing other people with it too. Like yeah it sucks when you fall out of love with a toyline, I've done it quite recently, but its my problem I'm not going to go make it the problem of people who still collect that line. It's all just a hobby, if you aren't enjoying it, move onto something you do

Darth Malgus is definitely an amazing figure and it's my personal belief Black Series needs more Sith Lord figures in the future.
Definitely agree with you Nate BBTS can take forever with getting figures. I'm still waiting for Jedi Vader and Jedi R2-D2
But BBTS told me yesterday that R5-D4 and Mando were possessing for me and they've got the Mando R2-D2 in stock so I might ditch the Jedi R2-D2, considering 🤔

My most elusive were Darth Vader (40th ROTJ and Duel’s End) and Ahsoka padawan. For 2 of them I actually had to chase down other people’s unclaimed preorders.
40th Vader is definitely a good choice! I haven't even seen him yet. -Justin
I didn’t buy many black series this year. But I did get the recently released phase 2 clone trooper. That clone is really good. So I decided to buy a phase 1 trooper aswell because I prefer that design. Other than that, it’s been just Luke and ahoska. But the biggest win for my black series collection was finally getting my hands on Rex. That figure is amazing and still holds up. I got Cody for Christmas to go with him. So the clone flood gates have opened. Hopefully I do fall too far in the trap. Next years phase 2 clone and b1 battle droid set looks to have serious army building potential.
The original #59 Rex? Pretty much a masterpiece figure! -Justin

I loathe Walmart exclusives. I still have not got an Echo. Good thing my buddy is selling off his collection and is holding him for me. I also collect Gi Joe Classified and they get alot alot of Walmart exclusives and they were a pain in the ass to get. This last wave however is still for sale on the site.

Huge SWTOR fan, the Darth Malgus figure actually got me into the Black Series this year. I would love more characters from the game later down the line too, like Shae Vizla, Arcann, Satele Shan, or Revan Reborn. Any version of Tenebrae/Darth Vitiate/Valkorian would be awesome too...

General Lando is opting for a Lifetime Achievement Award, in tough comeptition with Skiff Guard Lando.
I still see General Lando quite frequently. But not as high of volume as before. Thankfully I think he's getting phased out in my area at least, lol! -Justin
