💕One note that was brought to my attention after recording the video: I said there were magnets in the cutting mat; that is incorrect. The cutting mat is magnetic therefore being able to attract the magnets to it.
💕Also I wanted to mention, the mat I am reviewing is a left handed mat. If you notice the numbers going horizontally across the bottom of the mat are shifted one inch to the right. I contacted them immediately with this concern and they were able to get the mats in production changed. YAY! So this will be corrected on all Lefty mats!
💕I understand this is a higher priced item and is not in everyone's budget. However, SewTites is am amazing small family owned company and deserves credit for bringing such high quality products to the sewing industry! KUDOS!
Awesome new product to help prevent your ruler from sliding while using your rotary tool. I would imagine just like the Mighty Hoops, you want to keep all of your electronic devices and laptops away from the magnetic items. Thank you for sharing this information and your generous coupon.
You won’t want to store magnets ON your computer or laptop - but the magnets won’t harm other electronics! Smartphones actually have magnets in them!
The mat is metal (& layers of self-healing vinyl), so you can set anything on it. Hope that helps!

The main purpose of the magnets is to hold a sewing pattern...
Or to snap onto the ruler to hold thicker fabrics!
The magnets work on the included ruler to help hold thicker fabrics. They also work with ruler or templates to hold them to the mat. And the magnets work with paper pattern pieces for making clothes and quilt blocks.
Too rich for my blood... not impressed. Need less expensive version.
