This GoPro sticker in the helmet is a efficient line hook. We have seen some accidents here in Brazil, when on collapse the line stuck in the camera and pilot couldn't freed the line. Some pilots are using other types of camera attachments like velkro plus a line in camera to helmet as leash to not lose it in a fall.

+Jairo Villão Has happened to me a few times ground handling. Use 3M DualLock 'supervelcro' to secure the Contour mount to the top of the helmet plus a leash with a plastic clip to catch the Contour if knocked lose. The plastic clip is strong enough to catch the camera, but not enough if the camera is trapped by a line -> the clip is the weak link as opposed to my neck.

Yeah, I had the same concern while watching, and even more with the camera pole. But it appears that Greg has enough experience while flying with those, so I think he knew what he was doing.

Whist I got your point this didn’t help too much for a newer pilot to look for something safe(r).

Well that depends entirely on which newer pilot we are talking to. You're welcome to give us a call anytime and get that advice :-) flybubble.com/wing-match

A numb wing may help a numb pilot, but an acro glider (EN D)seems to be able to recover in situations I thought it was game over. In the mountains, the weather can change within 10-15 minutes, and you need to land before the a nice 5km/h wind turns into a nasty 75km/h gust with lift over 12m/s. Your scary wing will warn you a lot earlier to get out of the air. A numb wing that builds confidence may result in you overstaying your welcome without the speed to get away!

That sounds more like lack of knowdlege about the flying day - such as a forecast for over-development, or Föhn? I think you'll notice a 12m/s climb, even in a numb wing. Besides, lenticular clouds should give you an indication about high winds in the mountains. If you rely on your wing to warn you about very high winds or cloud suck, I think you should pick up a book about meteorology, don't you agree?
