The should make upgraded boots for other boot types besides berserkers and the void ones
Chances are they will, it just makes the most sense to implement the ones for ADCs first because they’re the ones most likely to reach them in a game first
@@AtlasAdvice254What ? Even in pro play, ADCs don't reach lvl15 before their solo laners outside of rare hyperfeeding cases. What even is that statement ?
@@markopusic8258 ? This obviously isn’t a change for pro play because games don’t run 50-55 minutes usually. Moreover, this doesn’t even get unlocked by levels but by GOLD. You made up a random scenario in your head by what I said and replied to what you thought I meant instead of what I actually meant 💀
@@AtlasAdvice254 "Moreover, this doesn't even get unlocked by levels but by GOLD." The new zephyr (Berserker's Greaves tier 3 version) requires the player to be a minimum of level 15 to be able to purchase. It is most definitely unlocked by levels as well as gold.
@@AtlasAdvice254 to add insult to injury, pro play games don't run 50 minutes lmao, but they do have higher average levels at any point in the game than most standard soloq experience hence the Zephyr is even more likely to be bought in pro play than Soloq because not many soloq games last till you're level 15
Knew Zephyr would increase dash distance, we lost LT but we gained bigger jumps. This also makes Q hops a lot longer, since Q hops are longer than auto hops. New wall hops with zephyr perhaps? Excited to test this
Doesnt her dash distance scale with movespeed? So she doesnt jump further with zephyr when she didnt attack before to stack her zephyr movespeed up

A small tip, you can press a (I’m not too sure) to bring up the attack range, use the edge of the attack range circle to mark your coordinates instead will yield a better result.
My first thought was locking camera and set up the dummy so that we're stepping to the corner of the screen since that's an easy spot to click on consistently
What about the soles, but when you just buy them, before you complete the quest? Is there a difference?
It'd be smaller jumps cause the boots have less movespeed

@@PhanPhareEmfasized you confused the range and the speed, the range of the dash depends on the rank of the boots, the speed of the dash depend on the kalista's speed stat
@@reden666 idk about the speed stat but the dash speed scales with your attack speed
@@XFlav86X Its true, its why slows were so crippling on Kalista, the slow reduces her movement stat which reduces dash speed.

I'm really really glad that they thought of this. This was my first thought when seeing Zephyr so that's awesome
ill be honest im sure this is unintentional but it will be unchanged. Kalista is kinda booty overall very very niche
You could've used Fleet Footwork (or any item with energized attack) to measure how much does it recharge with distance moved
Wasn’t this a thing already back when we had boot enchantments like Alacrity and Homeguard?
Nah, they increased the tier 2 range when they removed tier 3. These got scrapped anyway though.

instead of pixels, you can use something like deadmans or celerity to help measure distance traveled

Its bc it scales with movespeed. Swiftness boots should apply a similar effect
How did you measure the pixels?
The coordinates (x1,y1) and (x2,y2) of the arrows can be checked in the video editor. Then I calculated the distance as sqrt((x1-x2)^2+(y1-y2)^2).

You should jump perfectly horizontally/vertically if measuring this via pixels, otherwise variations in your angle will affect the result. Since squares have longer diagonals, a more diagonal jump will take less pixels to cover the same real distance.
I am taking that into account since I am not literally counting pixels but calculating the distance
I doesn’t need to be precise tho, you just need to know that in the general direction you have actually more dash range, that’s all you need to know really so don’t need to be accurate

Why would the new boots give her more mobility once she's in combat? They only give bonus ms out of combat.

Its a great buff but remember they took away LT rune which is a core thing to have for Kali.

As a mage selling boots to get last items was sad af just to get the damage needed on tanks and i also loose the small magic pen and movement speed i got with them... Glad there is tier 3 boots now ...

Because as of yet there are no other kinds of boots upgrades that give non-ms stats.
Ah lol yes... I thought they would do the same for all boots for some reason. But at least there is a change for one of the boots on the recall time... Maybe it will do well since i prefer using recalls often and not using TP.

I thought movespeed determined the distance. Zephyr gives extra MS on hit, so that's probably why it has the extra distance.
nope, her dash isnt affected by movespeed at all, its boots tier
read the passive text its pretty clear about how it works
bro there is math equasion for calculating distance of 2 points based on x and y coordinates of both points. Just use it xd

I'm playing in 1280x720 and I found that I don't jump nearly as many pixels as you do.
That's because you have less pixels .. everything is scaled proportionally.
Yeah, because you have less pixels to begin with so the game scales it differently. You jump the same in-game units regardless of your screen size though

well kalista's damage falls off a cliff lategame, she can't go invis to stay alive, and any sort of slow is an instant death for her sooo not really
Also letal tempo is removed and that is a pretty big rune for kalisra -_-
