My personal favorite is Alive. Such vivid imagery for a track that's pretty much Duran Duran's Hungry Like a Wolf. But on this track the protagonist isn't oozing with confidence, he feels like finding this girl is the only thing that can save him from being a monster, and his partying is less of a lifestyle choice and more of a curse and something he feels almost ashamed of. That's such a refreshing take on this type of a situation - he's breaking down all these rapper stereotypes and does it on a track co-produced by freaking MGMT. Just wonderful.

As a person who considers their life saved by Cudi's music, I was absolutely disgusted when I saw the GQ video. I'm so glad I wasn't the only one. My Cudi Iconic tracks would be Man on the Moon, Just What I Am, Heaven at Nite, Solo Dolo, and Love. All of his first three albums defined my awakening as an adult in college. Indicud was not well liked by my friend group (and even I to this day don't listen to it anymore with the exception of Just What I Am and King Wizard) but I feel like the whole entire Hip hop genre was influenced by indicud, I think without it you wouldnt have trancy/trap beats we have today from artists like Travis Scott (well in this example we know we wouldn't because how much Travis has indicated his music influenced by KC)

thank you for making this video i am a huge kid cudi fan he’s definitely my favorite artist and i remember watching that GQ interview before this video and thinking in my head “are these people stupid?” kid cudi has paved a way for a lot of artists people listen to for example travis scott, jaden smith, etc.

As a person who considers their life saved by Cudi's music, I was absolutely disgusted when I saw the GQ video. I'm so glad I wasn't the only one. My Cudi Iconic tracks would be Man on the Moon, Just What I Am, Heaven at Nite, Solo Dolo, and Love. All of his first three albums defined my awakening as an adult in college. Indicud was not well liked by my friend group (and even I to this day don't listen to it anymore with the exception of Just What I Am and King Wizard) but I feel like the whole entire Hip hop genre was influenced by indicud, I think without it you wouldnt have trancy/trap beats we have today from artists like Travis Scott (well in this example we know we wouldn't because how much Travis has indicated his music influenced by KC)

That was the first song I ever heard from Travis Scott. Heard it on the radio but just heard Travis Scott’s part and I was wondering who jacked Cudi’s flow. Then I realized Cudi was on the track and now I’ve been a fan of TS ever since.
Great vid, youre absolutely right this video made me super mad because kid cudi is my favorite artist and motm is my favorite album, they at least could’ve included day n nite since its the song hes pretty much known for, but of course whenever kid cudi is brought up they have to bring up kanye with him.

First things first the number 1 song they should have mentioned was Day N Nite. Then Pursuit of Happiness, Mojo So Dope, Make Her Say, Mr. Rager, Marijuana, Just What I Am, Immortal, To Bad I Have To Destroy You, Confused, Surfin, Rose Golden, By Design and Reborn. I think Father Stretch My Hand Pt.1 should have been included. Another one I personally think though he didn’t do but co-wrote is Heartless. For those who didn’t know Kid Cudi wrote the hook for Heartless. There’s more songs I have but there more personally favorites more than widely iconic.
