I have a clan mate who is a genius builder! I’m going to drop you some info, but make the video and mention her as credit.(Usagi). You can use this method anywhere in your build. First place a stable pillar gate. In the same direction, place whatever wall/window you choose. Then at an angle,where it just barely hits the snap point, you can place any other wall/window and they will both overlay. Example: I first place the stable facing outward, then the Turanian arched wall facing outward. Then facing inward, I place a Stormglass window. You’ll have the shape of the Turanian outline on your Stormglass. Use that method in any style you choose
I usually do pillar and ceiling for the first layer/floor and put it close to the terrain and then build up from there using the foundation method, personally. That way the first layer isn't noticable as much, if at all. This method I usually only use for walls, though. You can make unique defensive walls with this, but it definitely requires a bit of planning to use it for a base.
Yeah I didn't explain the workings too well in the Sandstone Cabin build, mostly because i wanted to make a filled out guide on it. Glad you enjoyed the video!

I find your slotting guide stylishly very interesting and inspiring... and I'm looking forward to using these tips from you in my future construction projects after the upcoming Purge system update. - I play on a private co-op server with lots of mods... and because Purge is activated, I've only been able to build everything with Pillars without Foundations... (btw. I'm not a fan of the old and new purge system... I just want action under my control and building)... Thank you very much for your diverse, very successful masterpieces and how-to-buildings. Honestly, I would like to, but I really don't have the experience to give any advice for PvP building without being completely wrong I think Ceronesthes has done a video about PvP building, he's probably the best resource in that aspect, his content is all focused on PvP
