I literally was bashing into the curb flying off and not getting it. Thinking “maybe this just isn’t for me, I’ll never learn it.” Watched this video went and did everything as instructed and I slid on the curb so hard and fast I thought I was dead. Seriously I panicked. Needless to say I can crook slappy now.
You really gotta ram into them and go at it nearly 90 degrees. Pretty much straight on like Rob says in the vid. Just try it. Seems counter intuitive but trust. For back 5050 slappys, bash into nearly straight on and lean on your toes. Front 50s, same thing but lean on your heals. Right when you bash into it turn your shoulders parallel to the curb. Go at it like youre about to carve a wave
Yeah, the way in is the hardest part. But after you figure it out, the heel toe thing, you are just chilling
Do a vid for slappy crook on a ledge!
Wow. The S turn. Makes so much sense. Thanks!

I Needa learn how to skate vertical straight curbs like that. I can never 50/50 on them or anything. It’s so hard

Krook is easier that 50
It’s seems simple, but it’s not. Thank you! Gonna try this in Miami!
