@@MrBariser Yes very much, I guess you will see yourself then. DCT is actually better than I imagined (I did not drive with any automatic clutch before). Engine has enough strength even with fully loaded car. There is all I need in Smart variant. Only negatives I see (hear :D) is noise comming from wheels, this could have been done better. Also it is not a big car (I have wagon/combi) so, fitting larger people or bigger seats for kids might not be very comfortable. Trunk is big, but could have vertically bigger (You cannot fit car fridge and close the trunk shade).
@@GiliacHeskel Thank you very much for your opinion! I know, that is not too big, but I think it will be enough for me - I've ordered the wagon too (with DCT). Maybe in the longer perspective I will need a space for kids seats. Thank a lot for sharing your Experience :)
like and subscribe! thanks for this review. I will pay the advance on monday for the n line 7 dct hatchback! I can't believe the price diference between German and Romanian market. Here, the N line is 20100 euros!
Only thing I missed from the video is a motorway ride, especially that you in DE still have no speed limit roads I'd expect some high speed action. Acceleration from 100 to 160 would be interesting for me, also the engine noise..
Why isn’t the Tourer offered in N-Line trim in the UK? From what I’ve heard before, this may be because there wouldn't be sufficient demand for the Tourer in N-Line trim from British buyers?
I wanted to ask, regarding the N-line 18'' wheels, are they uncomfortable for long trips? Is it going to be annoying if the roads arent very good, if there are bumps, potholes etc? Will this make the trip much more uncomfortable or the annoyance is small and the change in comfort is negligible? Also is there any chance the 18'' wheels to be damaged since they are relatively thin?
I like the look of the i30 station wagon but it has very poor rear leg room for a station wagon. My kia ceed hatchback has way more room. Lots of owners reporting that Hyundais MHEV system doesn't work.
@@djhuby After 5000km mainly in city average consumtion with 1,5 tgdi imt (manual) 6,6 l/100km. When drivin highway 160km/h the consumtion is about 6,8 and out of the city is about 5,3-5,5l/kmh
At avarge (measured by on board computer) city speeds of 20-25 km/h avareage fuel consumption is 10 l/100km normal mode, start-stop off. At avarge speeds 25-30 it's 8.5 l.
Excellent video, thank you! Are you sure the n-line wagon does not get the better suspension (multilink in the rear)? I am considering a non n-line wagon with very similar specs to your test car.
Many thanks for watching. At least in Germany, no suspension changes for the N Line Wagon. I presume it is the same in other markets. Noted on the Autobahn ride - next time :-)
Thanks for the English content. It is a real struggle to find an English review about this new 1.5 tgdi. Yours is the first i found. You rock!
Many thanks for watching the video und your comment.
Okay, we rock. But with low volume (viewing stats) :-)

Very many thanks for watching the video!
I just got new i30 T-GDI 1.5 with DCT, this review actually helped with the decision to purchase. Thanks, great review!
I am glad to hear that. Very many thanks for watching the video and for your comment.
Hi!
Do you enjoy your car so far?
I am waiting for my i30 (Smart - not n line) with the 1-5tgdi and I am looking for the opinions :)

Great video - I really like the new design of Hyundai since the got rid of the chrome grill
They used all the chrome material for the new Tucson!
Great review. Thanks a lot.
Many thanks for watching!
Well presented with lots of good info, many thanks.

What is the average fuel consumption for this car? Highway 130-150 kmh and city driving would be nice

Real fuel consumption ?

"strange german accent"- i died :))))))
Just bought one, 1.5 manual transmission mild hybrid
What is your opinion after some driving? Engine sound and consumption? I have 1.4 tgdi.. Is it worth upgrading to 1.5?
is it slow?

Where I live in the UK, we don’t get the N-Line wagon at all!
Are These Cars All Left Hand Drive?
Our testcars are as we are based in Germany. The i30 is also available as a RHD car.
Great video
Many thanks!
