I've probably watched this video 100x. And just begun working on it. It's such a versatile move

I used to play against a guy who had all the old-school moves from the late 80's to the mid 90's; this spin seal was his signature move. He would use this to go right into his jumpshot and it was unstoppable. He called this move "do em" (the defender).

I appreciate the breakdown of this move. It’s very useful. What I’ve noticed growing up, kids who practice often (on their own time) show a unique love of the game. That is to say, their handle, movement, quickness, and change of motion is like a dance, very natural. This breakdown is absolutely helpful. Not everyone is a natural on the court. That’s something I just realized.

now THIS is a dope workout. . i love how u start with one move, then show the counter, then the counter to the counter. THIS is how you develop an offense. exceptional!
one thing i notice, at ~6:20, when he spin seals to the left, it's a steal for the defender b/c savvy defender will pick it. on his right side, the ball was out of reach from his body. . .when he does it on his weak side, left, and he spins, the ball is open for a theft : )
the ball has to be pulled kinda behind the body during this move, otherwise it's a NASTY break-away steal for the defender. (see how zion williamson does it or mak mud abdul rauf (sp)) just my 2 cents. keep up the good werk.

Thanks. I I practiced this move with my 9 y/o son. He had a game the day after and used this move and scored easily. He was so happy and said “ daddy the seal move works!!!!” . Thanks again.

It's like this guy was Steve Nash's personal trainer. So many of his moves I recall Nash doing in pick/screen situations

Jay Greg He’s not Steve Nash’s trainer, but he has worked with Steve Before. There’s actually a video on UA-cam of him helping Steve Nash demo a project.

I keep coming back for this move, such a versatile move. Could easily go into a spin move in traffic. Good for pick and roll too.
