- We are cracking on with something a little different this week - away from the VMXdN Foxhill and Farleigh Castle builds. First up is a pet project, my mate Lee McCollum (aka James Bubba Stewarts spanner man) has built a couple of these and it got me thinking.
I am a Suzuki man through and through, so we go in depth on the 2020 RMZ/RM 250 two-stroke. She got some special parts, including a couple of factory bling bits.
Also in this episode is an update on the 2018 EXCF250 update and some very cool looking enduro Michelin tyres.
Finally, we look at another Suzuki. This one is a customer-built one. She came in with a couple of issues, which we are working through one by one. Our engineer is being put through his paces! I also talk through the difference between a great shock and an awesome factory shock!
VMXdN Foxhill and Farleigh Castle Vets MX will soon be here, and we will be back next time with an update of those builds.
You can find all our titanium parts and everything we make for the factory teams in our eBay store.

Doc you are really going to make some viewers hair curl by saying the Suzukis are just built better. I’ve worked on dirt bikes for 48 of my 58 years and totally agree with you. The Suzukis are well made machines and the 06 RM250 motor is the best stock motor I’ve ever ridden. Always love the update on all the projects going on👍🏼🤜🏼🤛🏼
Great minds think alike my friend!
@@docwobtv You just made the price of blown Suzuki four strokes go way up. Honda fanboys are in meltdown. Great job! Suzuki has had the best chassis for a long time, can't wait to see this build. I'm working on sticking an air cooled RM 465 in a 2008 RMZ frame, should be fun.
Sweet more videos the better, Doc has the best content on here.
Glad you like them!
Awesome videos, as always!.....I just received a package from your shop. Axle blocks, etc., etc. they are very nice parts and in line price wise with used, junk eBay parts. Thank You!!!
Glad you like them!
the how to series will be epic - dont stop DocWob
It will be a game changer
I would like to see someone come up with a trick part for 04RM125 rear Rotor guard I like the ones that are on the 05 and up but 04 is different it is a Stand alone year love to see a trick part made Maybe give it a better look like the other years or something
Food for thought!
There's Now,t like a good shock Wob, it's great to see how much work goes into these bikes and how they work 👍👍👍
They are a life changer!
Excellent as usual! 👍
Thank you! Cheers!
My favourite bike was RM250 I had an 2007 ,my daughter had a RM125 2008 and we travel around for about 10years racing natural terrain motocross and cross-country races ,trail rides and our local motocross track. still have my daughter's bike in the shed ,my one I had to sell bad knee.Only problem I had with my RM250 was I did the main bearings twice in it ,had great power and great handling bike.
That billet shock body is just the ultimate! Please do a video on safety wiring tips Doc! 👍
You got it!
Yellow 💛 baby 😊
Soon my friend!
Love the channel and all the cool knowledge. What a plethora of knowledge. I always can't wait til the next episode. Plus love all the Vmxdn builds
Thank you for the support
Love all the trick stuff! Proper engineered parts.
My mate works on airplanes and (over)engineered me a 8mm thick titanium head stay for my old KTM! Coolest part on the bike! His (trials riding) 3d print wizard made a super strong throttle tube assembly with bearings in it. Very smooth! Tommy would like it, lol
Sounds great!
Top work gents, can’t wait to see more!
Much appreciated!
Great video, how to vids will be massive, us garage metal butchers need as much help as possible . Engineering is art . We love it.
Very true!
What year did you say was the beat rm 250 2 stroke ? 2006
This is another banger!!
what makes the 06 rm250 engine better than the yz250?
Is it okay to just say trust me?
@@docwobtv Yes, it is ok, dang it now I gotta get one! thank you
2006 RM125 air boot is best....fab up a carbon sheet adaptor plate to join everything up.
i recently completed a YZ250 motor in a 2019 RMZ chassis. The chassis received no welding or grinding for fit up. New plates were fab'd for lower mounts and upper mount was fab'd in multiple pieces to facilitate carb access.
That’s an effort!!
👊🏁
Please say this year's VMXDN plastic pint glasses will have like a line on the side for 32:1 or 40:1 so we can use them to mix gas and haul A**
Hahaha good idea !
May I call 1st dibs on the rm250af when completed?
Ship to USA?
Just drop us an email!
I'd rather push a Honda than ride a Suzuki... But you are the man😂 Love to see what takes place at your workshop! 👍🏾
I appreciate that!
How to videos would be awesome!!!
Coming soon!
Tim March as in the Tim March MRD BMX legend 😮
Yes!!
Nice motor. .....but gearbox never really stood up...done a few selector drums on Hondas, very little on Yamaha,KTM,Gas gas....but loads of second gear driven and other bits in yellow gearbox..the 2010 450 output seal that fell out on track always amused me...
I'm racking my brains for name, but there was a UK company that normally done rally car gearboxes did remake some Suzuki/Kawasaki parts for teams ....my RM certainly never had these😂...
Thanks for the info
That front fork /wheel spindle was appalling , you would not do that on a field bike !!
Correct!
