- This video is from the eve of day 2 when we went for a tour in the town of Volcano, CA where we all had a 5 star dinner at the Volcano Union Inn where Chef Eric is the star of this restaurant! Some of our group from the Modesto Area A’s stayed for a theatre performance which they loved, but off to bed for us after dinner! This town is truly a jewel in the mountains!
Then on day 3 we drove to Jackson, CA to tour the Kennedy Gold Mine…I couldn’t believe that they actually got donkeys down in those tunnels!!
These places are so rich in history preservation!!

What a cool trip you two must have had, that is one wonderful birthday gift along with everything you've shown, how nice! You know, when you get into your retirement years, you suddenly realize how much you have missed. During your early working years a person focuses on making a living for his family while trying to improve their life and surroundings. I miss those years, but I'm glad that I get the chance to experience all these new wonderful experiences. Thanks for sharing these videos with us, god bless and I hope you have a great day!

Love the old typewriters and adding machines, my father owned an office machine sales and repair business in North Hollywood, CA 1960s-80s and I helped him in the repair shop when I was a kid. He owned a large collection of antique machines and rented them out to a friend who was a prop manager at Universal Studios. Many of his newer model typewriters were in the Rockford Files Show with James Garner and movies of the 1970s.

Another great video. Stayed in the hotel about 20 years ago. There was an event at the nearby Masonic Cave we attended. The food looks like it's much better than when we were there. The road in must have been fun in Model As.
It was a beautiful drive! If you get a chance to go eat there again now that Chef Eric is there, you’ll have a real treat!
Blue Collar mobile to the rescue! It is a big comfy couch on wheels with an auto tranny. Gotta nurse him back to tip top condition! We need Paul up and about!

@@williamforbes5826 a huge kidney stone lodged itself and was causing his kidney to fail, doctor did an awesome job and things seem to be functioning well now ♥️🙏♥️

Lol, Paul had surgery 5 days before the tour and didn’t want to miss out, so we took the smooth riding vehicle 💕
Where was Roadie?
Roadie’s getting worked on 😁💕 Paul actually got surgery done so no driving manual for him at the time of the trip and I haven’t had any longer distance driving experience yet to feel comfortable driving manual yet, I would have been jerking poor Paul around 😬 but soon Roadie will be ready to drive again and some videos to show what we’ve been up to and doing to Roadie! Paul is doing much better now! Have an awesome week!

Different reasons, some are in the middle of projects with their Model A’s, as for us, Paul just had surgery 5 days before and we needed to drive something smooth driving so we could still join in on the tour fun.
