If you want your tools to swing even faster, quick-switching from a tool to another slot and back to the tool mid-swing cancels part of the animation. I can see that your tools are upgraded, so this trick won't make too much of a difference, however it will help _considerably_ if you decide to start a new game. Aside from that, welcome to the game! Plenty of ways to play it, and plenty of mods out there if you want to change something. "Floor is lava" is a fun one for when you get more comfortable. Or try "Bigger stacks for Survival" if you find the inventory too small. "Bot Factory" 1 and 2 are great challenge packs if you're into automation.
Thank you for that information! I started out with Crashlander, and also a normal survival one! the grind is real! lol I first wanna learn the in and outs of the vanilla game so I know what I am doing.. the one thing I struggle with in normal survival, is component kits! lol been walking around like crazy (like hours) and came back to the Srapstation with 2 component kits and seeing I need at least 10 for a new bot kinda is disappointing, or maybe I am missing something, as I only play this game for a short time! I also saw a world builder, and all, I think that Scrap Mechanic is a amazing game, with SO much play time in it! and than the free mod! so awesome! (I will check out the other stuff too!)
@@FerDutchman Yeah, component kits are always a bottleneck in regular Survival. I think the most reliable way to get them is to raid a warehouse (one of those big colorful buildings). Tapebots around and in those warehouses drop component kits and circuit boards, but their ranged attacks are devastating. Other than that, you sometimes get them in random boxes around the map. Check in and around structures since often times there will be a box or two at the top, especially in those buildings on small islands.
hello, im having a hard time finding the recipies for the craft bot and the other things that come with it, do you know where the blueprints are for it? and if its in the HQ could you tell me what room?
As far as I know if you stick to the notifications (right side of the screen) you should be able to find everything, make sure to check each room in the warehouse, explore!
