I have had some exposure to riding the trains. Your videos like this helps me gain confidence in getting more familiar with the different stations and how they connect with the ones I'm familiar with. Kop-kun-krup Teya.
Thanks for sharing......what you have just shared is very usefull to me because coincidently my flight will be landing at Don Muang NEXT WEEK from Kuala Lumpur (Inaugural flight by MYAirline to Don Muang) and my hotel is located only 3-minutes journey (on foot) from Shukumvit MRT Station!! hahaha
I stay in Khlong Si, but I have never used public transportation in recent times but it is good to see the new infrastructure going in with rail since road infrastructure is already saturated in Bangkok. We really need to expand the rail network to more inter city locations and not rely on Chinese money,
@@ItsThaithings I was there last month. It was just too hot for me. I had to stay inside the bar and drink to keep cool. ;o)~ I plan to come back in December. Hopefully it will be cooler.
Sawaedee Krap Teya, You have excelled yourself again very well put together I did not know of this SRT route. Cannot get over the vastness of the areas, may I ask who pays for the original construction must have cost an exorbitant amount of THB. I will say its well done, Thailand when they construct a major project there is no money skimping its done to last. All citizens of Thailand should be very proud. I will ask one question, I noticed no safety screens on the edge of the platforms, when saw this in Thailand I was amazed what a top idea, all countries of the World should adopt this method. Take Care - Love That Smile 😄
Whoaaa ... I'll be in Bangkok, arriving in Don Mueang on 10 May 2024. Hope I can experience the train once I arrive. And thanks for the clarity ... Anyway, do you have a tutorial on how to buy train ticket, whether it is MRT or BTS or sleeper train in Bang Sue Grand Station? Thanks a lot ...
I also use train to Suvarnabhumi airport because by car it takes sometimes much longer. If I travel Sundays, I would take the taxi. I would definitely use the red line to Don Mueang. 😊👍
Teya, a long long way to walk from getting off your plane to boarding the train - no good for anyone with walking difficulties like myself but thanks for showing us all the same 😊🙏🇬🇧
there are perhaps more than 50 youtube & tiktok videos about SRT red line. but surprisingly, not one of these so-called content creators mention the start time & end time of SRT red line daily operations. so basically that negates the entire post.
This video will be helpful for my upcoming Bangkok trip in July. My Airbnb is by the Bang Chak BTS station. I land in Don Mueang. Could I use this route to get to the Bang Chak BTS station?
Could you please tell me immediately is there any train severe Don muang airport to sukhumvit I am waiting for your answer as soon as possible .i am from sri 🇱🇰 lanka Please ..please .please ..
Thanks this is interesting. I am interested in learning about alternatives to Taxis also because the last time I got a Taxi at the DM airport the line for the Taxi station was very long and took 30 minutes just to get a Taxi using the official queue. In addition to the SRT/RedLine, google maps shows a way using the BTS to Mo Chit then taking some kind of transit from Chatuchak Park to DM airport... google maps calls it "A1 NGV". I'd be interested in seeing a video on that. I like using the BTS and could do the BTS->MRT->SRT but that is 3 different systems so I'm curious about the BTS->"A1 NGV" route option?
You late with this video, last night I was trying to book a flight from bankok to Phuket, it was from dma airport, didn't know how to get there so I picked the flight from savpubumi airport.
Suvarnabhumi is much easier reaching to the city. I don't know it's late for you because you don't tell me before about which date you will arrive. Sorry for being slow
How r u???? Off topics : visited pattaya for 10 days.... Just amazing tour it Was.... Yesterday i have come back to my Country ( Bangladesh).. This Was 6th time for me in Thailand.. ( 1st time post COVID) Thank u for ur all important information.
This video should be shown as a warning to travelers arriving at Don Muang airport that the Thai people can not design a customer satisfactory airport system. Number one with the distances youm need to travel where are the moving walkways. Why are they advertising the Magic Food Court after you have passed it, why are trolleys forbidden past a certain point why are the halls so massive and taking so much space for so few customers and where is the internal train from the arrivals hall to take you directly to the red line ticket office, also the choice for strangers to your hotel area are confusing. It seems the answer is to download the Bolt app and order a taxi from that, if they have an area they can pick you up from. So0rry it was such a long winge but you did kind of hint towards the end that I am right.
Nothing beats a video to clearly show people how to get somewhere 👍☺
Thank you very much
I tried for over an hour to get a Grab or Bolt but they didn’t work out! So I followed your video. You’ve saved me and let me hold back tears lol.
Great to hear! ☺️☺️
Don Muang Airport has been improving a lot in recent years. Thank you for the nice video, it makes me really miss Bangkok.
It really is! Thank you Kasu

Hello, i have a question, can i use a master/visa card to buy the train ticket at the vending machine or it only accepts cash?
This video will be helpful for my upcoming Bangkok trip in July. My Airbnb is by the Bang Chak BTS station. I land in Don Mueang. Could I use this route to get to the Bang Chak BTS station?
Bang Chak is too far from Don Muang. If I were you, I'd take airport bus to the town and continue with BTS train, NOT red line train one.
Thank you so much for the vdo… very informative
Is there a way to request baby booster for taxi 🚕 transfer from city to the airport?
If you want a baby seat, you'll need to book a private transfer. There's no seat for a baby on meter taxi
Great info Teya am sure it will be very helpful 😘
I hope so!
Still looking for the train from BKK to Pattaya 👍🏾

Just want to ask..if any transport from DM to Suvarnabhumi to take MRT direct to BKK because i alway use MRT to get down to phayathai station..
I am not sure I understand your question. But the best way to reach to suwannabhumi airport from don muang is airport shuttle bus.
If you have more than 1 roller/carry on bag, or if you're a senior or handicapped, I wouldn't recommend it.
I totally agree !
Can we go DMK to khaosan road ? By metro
There's airport shuttle bus going to Khaosan from DMK

how long did it took you to walk from don mueang international airport to the red srt? was it really far?
I posted long time ago I forgot now. Please watch this video. I mentioned how long it takes too
If i want go to pratunam..how to use train from airport?this august i with family will be thr
I don't think it's the best way to go to Pratunam by train. Better be meter taxi
@@ItsThaithings if I want to go to safari world. what kind of transportation can you recommend?
Taxi meter or Grab taxi only. It's far outside city areas

Can you get to mochit from DMK?
you must get off at the last station and continue by taxi, which is just about less than 10 mins far by taxi
Just noticed Teya some signs NO ENGLISH
Is there a card you can use for mrt and airport link?
No card for Airport link but MRT
Can i carry luggage in SRT and MRT
Yes Of course
How long it takes from don muang to asoke/sukhumvit?
I am not sure. I explained at the end of this video. Please watch
What if i wanna go to khaosan, where i should stop?
You get off at the last station and continue by taxi meter . It's not far.
@@ItsThaithings hai.. thanks for your kind info..oh 1 more thing if you dont mind, is there any motorbike rent in petchabun?
Can I take that for Sukhumvit Soi 5?
You must change the train
Hi Theya, you might think about a warning regarding flashing lights on this video especially around 3 min 22. Interesting vid nevertheless
It's a technical problem of my camera with the fluorescent lights. Nothing to warn for real one. Sorry about it
It just made me feel a little sick. I was thinking of people with epilepsy

Not your fault

If you go by Don muang airport, it's better be by taxi. Too complicated to get on public transport
