So this is a hard bottom clear area rig Alan right?
Where can i get these leads?
What lb mainline do you use if you're using 25lb hooklenght? I only started fishing about a year and a half ago and use 12lb mainline with a 9lb hooklenght so that if I do get into a snag or a fish breaks off I'm not going to loose all my gear. Recently been looking at getting some fluorocarbon line to tie some hooklenghts but can't find anything less than 15lbs which I'm not sure if I want to use as I'll have to rush loosing all my gear
@@Lakenbeerno its not, Unless you wanna lose all your tackle. You'll loose the hook and weight and a decent amount of line using a stronger hook length than mainline. That's your choice if you wanna have to keep buying gear.
@@Lakenbeer no mate. Like I said 12lb mainline with a in-line method feeder, Preston quick change bead with a 9lb short 4" hook length. Nothing huge because I don't really need it at the venues I'm fishing. Most of them don't allow hooks bigger than a size 8
@@Lakenbeer yeah that's where I couldn't tell you anything to be honest I dont use/haven't used braid before. A good friend of mine does use braid but he often switches his gear up for pike fishing and is too lazy to change back from regular mono/flouro to braided line.
looks like kind of multi rig
It practically is I like to use it since it dosent move
can this be used with pop ups aswell as wafters.
Absolutely 👍
@@OfficialNashTackle So would i add a shot or some putty an inch or two from the hook for the pop up to sit up ?
@@OfficialNashTackleCould I use a size 6 longshank instead?
Does this not require putty or shot
What a load of cobblers!
Only if using a pop up if using something like a wafter or snowman it is balanced and will sink under weight of hook
@@Aaron_Butcher3007 why is pop up no good?
Did not wet the swivel, Nash boys never seem to teach others to do a shake test for fish safety, what if some doughnut watches this and splices leadcore the same way AB does after watching this and it wont clear the the insert so even if the fish does shake the swivel free it remains tethered 🙈 👎🏼
It’ll be fine he’s a pro your not 🤦♂️
