Beautiful sub, something needs to be done on the bots' pathfinding. Love the room and crew quarters, if only a bathroom can be squeezed in for further detail.
Hmmm, pathing broke (again!) Thanks once again Desu! For things you didnt notice, engine has a sprint mod that let's it go fast for a couple of seconds. The minigun turret is actually just a tiny laser beam that just needs power. I'll take a look on waypoints again because before update it was fine, but we all know how devs do it. Ps. Turret was disabled for reasons (but my dumbass forgot to allow bots to sit on them again). Basically, minigun had an overheating mechanic where if hou shoot for too long, it stunns and burns everything in gunnery and reactor....buuuut update broke the system I had and I decided to make it just neede lots of power :/
This is why testing bot waypoint is important ,especially on ladder+hatch and outside area of the sub ,bots really having self-destructive tendency to stuck somewhere and never return
i'd like to point out that decotrauma does help a lot sub editors to have very nice interiors with tons of details. These guys made reactors, antennas, terminals, engines, crafting benches and a lot of extras. this sub uses these at an extent. not hating though, i'm just pointing it out. i use their assets too. I like what they offer but personnaly i try to modify it a little bit, just to avoid having the same things as everyone else. i have to tip the fedora at making these custom sprite to avoid item count overload, very big brain gamer move right there.
Surrrrrprisee, I didnt used them to DECORATE, i've ADDED THEM into Decotrauma. So all you see on this sub is original! Thanks for kind words, and glad you like Decotrauma assets, we mainly made them for inispiration and use if you really need to have something fancy on your sub!
@@NekolayTheFemboy oh wow, actual decotrauma team member then huh. pretty cool. the stuff avaliable in there did gave me a lot of inspiration for my subs. i was already a nitpick-detail-loving mfer so that mod collection does tickle the itch right in the spot, you guys did a really good job with the collection :D I'm in a phase of extended testing of my subs with firend on campaign. a T1, T2 (and maybe a T3 later on) on which i used some of the decotrauma assets here and there. who knows maybe i'll be featured by InitialDesu if i've done a good job. thanks for te precision though, glad i get to see some of the creations by the lads beind the mod project.
Man this sub is better than the ones i did!!! Awesome! This must have take more than a whole month to build, A Ton of work! and great results!... if he try to do even more custom texture he could be able to give more perfomance instead of using so many stuff to build the looks but still much goooooooood!!! Also if he use more stuff of XML to Create coditions to change the Sprite of the stuff when some stuff happen he could make the engine rotate by animation, that could be much cool. And put the pathfind in a good way to bots do good is a little hard :/ That is a wild creativy!!! Man i need a whole week to build the looks of a single room i can't even imagine how much time this guys must have speend to build this stuff :P Respect :) Also you could show the circuits and wire stuff the guy did that could be good to see
