LABOUR PARTY CARETAKER COMMITTEE INAUGURATED.
The National Chairman, Labour Party Caretaker Committee, Senator Esther Nenadi Usman, has tasked members of the caretaker committee to embrace unity and cooperation in order to overcome any challenges that may come their way, for them to lead the party to a brighter future.
According to her, with a shared vision and commitment, they can overcome any challenges that come their way towards making the Labour Party a beacon of hope for every Nigerian.
Speaking in Abuja while inaugurating the party’s Caretaker Committee, she said, “As members of the Caretaker Committee, our mission is clear. We are here to lay the groundwork for a party that can bring real change and relief to the suffering masses. Our task is temporary, but it is demanding.”

If Datti was Peter Obi, he would have declared himself president as Abiola did. I see it in his eyes.
The main thing that can reassure Nigerians is for members of Labour party at the national assembly to be more active and act as a viable opposition. Their current silence over national issues because of money and fear of suspension, is very disturbing.
At a time like this, I expected them to move a motion to invite Tinubu to explain the fuel scarcity, high fuel prices, crude oil theft and the secret payment of fuel subsidy which is an impeachable offence.
Tinubu is the substantive minister of Petroleum and Nigerians must not forget that. He is the main cause of the suffering in the entire country. Why must he make himself minister when the load of supreme court president is already too heavy for him? The oil money?
