To me, Ma Long is still the most reliable chinese player against foreigners. You could see that throughout that tournament

Japan took more games from China than all the other countries combined, and it's even crazier that all of them were won because of Harimoto(s).

@@w10-v4l both of them lived far before in japan. both trained in japanese clubs. both gone to japanese schools. If anything, it's their father's work which made them so good.

@@w10-v4l Guess how many players are coached by ex-CNT players. A lot. They were trained mostly by their father, who is yes, a chinese. But they weren't trained by the CNT. They are japanese. Their parents are chinese.

@@w10-v4l What do you want to suggest? That they are chinese and that's why they are so good? You're right that they obtained their citizenship in 2015, but they were living and socializing in Japan long before. It's pretty much like saying that Qiu Dang is chinese... My point is, that their nationality has nothing to do with their success. Their family has a lot to do with it, yes. Half of the american team is 'chinese', yet they haven't really reached anything substancial. Japan has more to do with their success tan china by any means.

@@w10-v4l No. I am just saying that the chinese state has nothing to do with their success. Saying that they are chinese is simply sh*ting on their work and the JNT. Also, as I said, citizenship is a pretty hard to aquire. They might've been only accepted in 2015, but the family lived in japan even when he was born (so at minimum from 2003).

Very competitive Japanese team - imagine if Hayata would’ve taken a game or two…

That way you can see Ma Long and Wang Chuqin win two more games.

For a minute there, Hayata reminded me of our own Joan of Arc, and like Joan of Arc, she got burned in the end.
