You are a brilliant writer, Jennifer. I am thrilled by the twist and turns in the stories. Thank you for sharing them. I look forward to listening to all of your books.
What a noble, loyal gentlemen in this story, I was looking for a Giorgina story for the longest time, I don't know how I didn't find this marvelous story before. Thank you very much for such a gift
All five books added up too hours of enjoyment, I was so sad when the final words were spoken but happy because it’s been a marvellous series. All the characters, old & new, melded so well together you couldn’t see the join & such wonderful characters they were. Many, many thanks & I’m looking forward too exploring more of your work 🎉🎉🎉
What a great ending to this series. I LOVED the Hero. Whether it's a P&P character or someone entirely new, you have such a great talent at developing them so that they completely inhabit the P&P world in a natural way. I can never read about Mrs. Annesley without thinking...'You are going to marry Mr Tanner someday.' :D Thank you thank you. I loved this one.
Book 5 is the most wonderful capstone to the epic Meryton Mysteries series! Miss Darcy being fleshed out like this was even more satisfying than I could have hoped for! I see aspects of the author in her too and I'm here for it! I love the names and personalities of the children in this book, especially the full name💖and sweet antics of the little boy. Another amazing part was when rhe book Persuasion was referenced with excitement in the story. Persuasion is probably, after Pride and Prejudice, my 2nd most favorite Austen book and I love it. Thank you Jennifer Joy!!!! I must go read the bonus chapter(s) you mention that are on your website! Such abundance!
I’m delighted that you loved it and tickled that you caught the Persuasion reference! It was a challenge to create a satisfying ending to the series, the most challenging of all my books, so your comments mean so much to me☺️
Wow! I’m so honored to have my stories binge-listened to! So far, I’ve uploaded 19 audiobooks, but I still have 6 more (not including my current work-in-progress) in various stages of production. My goal is to upload a new book every month. I’ll do my best not to make you wait too long 😊
I am anxiously awaiting your next contribution to your wonderful Audiobooks. I check every day for another addition. We all appreciate so much your providing us with your wonderful titles. Thank you.
Wow, thank you, Roberta! I had to slow down a bit, as we're moving house, but if you're subscribed, you'll get a nice notification as soon as the next audiobook goes live. I'll do my best not to make you wait too long 😊
I've been enjoying these stories; thanks. If I might put forth a thought: I rather suppose that you wish to make the dialog as true to the times as possible. If I'm right about that, you might wish to avoid modern turns of phrase like "don't have a clue" or "any time (or MUCH worse, "anytime" ) soon." But I do enjoy the twists and turns of the plots in these stories, and the dialog definitely seems to be mostly period correct.
I binged-listened to this series in 3 days...absolutely love it. My favorites are Darcy and Tanner. I love the Dickens references/characters woven into the stories, like the dance tutor Turvey(drop). I love the continuity throughout the entire series. This would make an excellent TV series! You have an excellent storytelling pace. You are now one of my favorite JAFF writers! Thank you for this series. The only thing I will point out are a few repeated phrases that I would recommend you stop using to improve your writing. This is NOT meant to criticize, but to help you improve your already great writing skills. I noticed these mostly because I listened to the entire series back-to-back. Scratched at the door (Knock or tap? Scratching on doors is just weird.) Spun on their heels. Dancers spin on the ball of the foot. Spinning on heels is unsteady, ungraceful, and awkward.) Scurried (Overused). Looked through their lashes. (Is this implying a squint, or the eye mostly closed or massive false lashes drooping in front of the eye?) Nibble on lip/mouth. (Overused.) Overall, a brilliant series! Thanks again for the hours of listening pleasure, I really look forward to more JAFF from you!
Thank you so much, Corinne! I appreciate your comments and kindly given suggestions and think you're awesome for loving Tanner and catching the Dickens references☺
Georgiana's story was the last in this series. I'm so happy you enjoyed them! If you're looking for more mysteries, you might enjoy my Mysteries & Matrimony playlist.❤
Hallo Jennifer, I hope you can help me. I enjoy your books very much but do not like audio books - I prefer to read and prefer even more to hold the actual book - you know, smell it feel it, call me old school but that is just me, so I want to know if there is somewhere that I can download your books (e books) and if they are available in print. I would appreciate your help asap
Absolutely! All of my books are available in ebook and print on Amazon. Here’s the direct link to my author page: www.amazon.com/Jennifer-Joy/e/B00V2SIWYA 😊
@@jenniferjoyaudiobooks is it only available on Amazon, I am not willing to use it as even with their "free" books they try to force you to give you your credit card details. Is it on any other e-book sites
@@michelleduplooymalherbe2837 I've thought over your question a great deal. The only solution I could come up with is to frequent the used bookstores in your wider area. You need a membership to your local library, but I believe even they require a credit card...perhaps not but you will have to investigate that. If you participate in any social media you could put the word out that you would like to do a book exchange in your local area. Facebook has local market forums. I know sharing your personal information involves risk, and if you have had any bad issues come up with this in the past, I understand. We live in a world where we have to trust and take risks. Make sure your credit card has a strong tracking option in order to alert you of anything suspicious. And make sure you have a good security program running on your computer. You probably know all of this, and I'm sorry to bore you with suggestions you already know. My only excuse is the desire to have everyone who wishes to read, especially Jennifer Joy's works, to be able to do that. Good luck.
I really think Jane Austen would have loved your book's book's 📚. Thank you for the wonderful stories.
I can only hope so, Marlene! I'm so happy you're enjoying my stories!
