Just purchased this from an ad I saw on Instagram and then I came looking for a review on yt and saw your video, I’m excited to try it out! I already own and am enjoying the kosas so and am wanting to try more clean products!
I saw kjaer weis customer service reply to someone on instagram about the issues with the dropper. I was frustrated with how difficult it was to get product out as well. They said that it is designed that way so that you don’t use too much product. I can’t remember the exact reply, but I think they thought if you can’t get too much out at one time, then you won’t over apply.?? I think they also gave some instructions on the best way to use the dropper. Even though I hate the dropper, I do feel like this foundation really makes my skin look beautiful. It is a bit too shiny for me, so I powder some of that down.
Thank for the tips on using this! I also bought it and have had for the last 5 days.. everything you are saying is 100% my experience too, so I am looking forward to trying to make this guy work better, as ingredients are great!

I was initially really drawn to this foundation, but hearing your thoughts on the packaging, I may wait and see if they alter the packaging in any way before/if I purchase it. Agree with so many others here that your pre-makeup skin looks absolutely beautiful! The foundation looked beautiful on you too. I have the WA and love it so I don't need another foundation anyway, haha!
Hey, your skin does look absolutely gorgeous! Whatever routine you have definitely works super well for you. I was interested in this launch and did buy a bottle in the same color I have in their cream foundation. Unfortunately for me the shades did not translate. I'm Lightness in the cream and that is a great match for me so I got Lightness in the new liquid. Found that the liquid Lightness is actually quite a bit darker than the cream version and has a more yellow/beige undertone as well. Noticed that in the liquid they do seem to have one lighter shade called Whisper so I'm going to try that one and see if it is better. Interestingly enough they do not have Whisper in the cream. I can make Lightness work but it definitely adds warmth to my skin which isn't my typical undertone. : ) Also, was concerned about the fragrance that Kjeir Weis added to this particular foundation as I generally try to stay away from any fragrance in products but it seems to not be an issue which is great! It is fairly subtle and doesn't linger once you apply the foundation. Have a good rest of the week and be safe!
I'm definitely going to try the Ilia's skin tint and the WA foundation at some point....not doing much right now soooo 🙄 I'm glad you pointed out the design of the KW bottle... Sadly that's a no for me, it would drive me crazy BUT I do think the foundation looks beautiful on you!
I feel like that dropper issue is meant to prevent waste (i.e., as you're pulling out the dropper, excess products gets wiped in the bottle like mascara). otherwise, i can see it being extremely messy once you put the dropper back in. great review! 💜
How would you compare this to the Westman Atelier foundation? I’m loving the Ilia Skin Tint, but for fall/ winter I usually lean towards a more satin finish and both the new Kosas and the Westman Atelier look like they might work.
