- Hello everyone, in this video I have shown you Lumbini Nepal, birth place of the Lord Gautam Buddha.
I have started my journey from Uska Bazar India to Lumbini Nepal, via Naugarh to kakrahwa border to Nepal with my bike Splendor. Lumbini is just 50km away from my home town.
If you are Indian then there is no need of visa to travel in Nepal, just bring your valid id proof like Aadhar card and driving licence, but if if you are from other country then Visa is necessary.
After crossing Indian border you need to take permit to travel in Nepal which is known as Bhansar, for bike 100 INR and fro car 400 INR.
As you know Lumbini is related to Gautam Buddha you can see there are many temples.
Great Lotus Stupa -
Great Drigung Lotus Stupa is one of the most religiously important Stupas in Lumbini and was built by the German Tara Foundation. The building contains a hollow crown partly covered in glass which reveals the Buddha statue inside. The historical significance of this building goes back centuries when the construction of this building was under the supervision and guidance of the Rinpoches. This Stupa is definitely worth a visit when in Lumbini.
There you can see a giant prayer wheel (written mantras), Turning a prayer wheel with millions of mantras inside is the equivalent of saying those millions of mantras.
Maya Devi Temple -
One of the most ancient Buddhist Temples in Lumbini, which is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Maya Devi Temple is one of the most well-known temples which is known as the birthplace of Gautam Buddha. when Maya devi was travelling to his father's palace from Kapilvastu, she gave birth of Gautam Buddha in forest of Lumbini.
Maya Devi Pond -
this is where Gautama Buddha's mother - Maya Devi - used to bathe. In fact, Lord Buddha's first bathing was done in this pond.
Eternal Peace Flame -
It was created in 1986 to celebrate the international year of peace. The flame was bought from the United States of America (USA) to promote peace and harmony among the nations as well as the global community.
Bodhi Tree -
Because of Bodhi Tree in Bodh Gaya where Buddha attained enlightenment and liberation from delusions, anger, and self-indulgence. The entire journey of Buddha's life is often associated with the tree, The Bodhi Tree considered immensely significant in Buddhism.
HOW TO REACH HERE ►
📍 ✈️ 🚌🚂 ► The Nearest Airport is Bhairahawa (Nepal) which is 22km from Lumbini or you can come to Gorakhpur airport (India).
If you are coming to Gorakhpur airport or railway station then you take bus to Sunauli, from Sunauli you have to change vehicle , lumbini is 30 km away from Sunauli.

I wanto come on my bike 100cc from lucknow. Tell me suggestion.
Lucknow is around 300+km , if your bike condition is good then you can come no problem. Take rest for one night in Lumbini so that you can enjoy there.
One suggestion- pls do extra currency exchange it will help you lot in Nepal.
Bro your video very informative..I am from Hyderabad..we are planning Nepal trip.. ayodya to Lumbini via basti road kaisa hai..car me entri ke liye kuch problem hotha kya..road kaisa hai..bandar office timing kya hai... currency exchange, Nepal sim milthi kya.. please clear my doubts..

sir jb aap Nepal border me entry karenge to wha pe ek chauraha hai Jha pe aap currency exchange kr skte hain , aur bhansar (permit ) bhi sb easily ho jayega aur bhansar ka timing subh 8bje se start hota hai.
Nepal me road single way hai, car se Jane me koi issue nhi, Abhi bhi vha pe development ka kaam chl rha hai… sir SIM card lene ka jaruri nhi hai , aapko kuch jagah WiFi mil jayega, aur agr aap time se pahunchte hain to ek din me bhi pura ghum skte hain , 2 days raho to aur bhi acha.
