Love the video, I managed to form germany in 1841. I love playing as germany but hate waiting to form it every time, so this is really cool for me. By the way, "Main" is pronounced like "mine"
it has always been the case that a genial amicable or genial friendly austria will accept unification im not quite sure why it went genial in this case but the plan was to get a trade agreement which makes it cooperative and then when i went friendly it was gonna go genial
You don't need to drop rank. Rank helps determines if you are a leadership candidate, but you can also stop someone by being a leadership candidate with the unification war, which is what the war & peace with Austria was about.
I decided to do this in 1.8, and I don't know if I just got "lucky," but four times in a row more states than I could bankroll researched nationalism. The most common alternatives to nationalism are intensive agriculture and corporate charters, with only one exception. Maybe the hardcoded a high nationalism research rate in 1.8...
I'm trying this and a few things aren't lining up. despite doing all the same rivalries, Russia is neutral towards me and Austria is still antagonistic, so I can't get an alliance with Russia or trade agreement with Austria in the first year. Can you clarify how you're making them like you so quickly?
Russia starts with genial, you have to have 2 shared rivals with them to get an alliance and for the Austrian trade agreement you make a ton of random trade routes to increase acceptance
would there hypothetically be a seed where every single germany constituent state researches nationalism, then u could get super germany like crazy early right???

When Supergermany formation in 1835?
idk that sounds a bit difficult
@@connorvic3 It's easy, play for a couple thousand or million years until it overflows and then profit
Just reseacrch the time machine
In 1835, I guess :)
Connor reclaims his title of 'Bismark Speedking'.
I would love to see this arms race of getting faster and faster germany culminate in a fastest central europe arms race :P. Kudos on the record.
I didn't know research was consistent every time, good job!
it isnt consistent every time its only consistent beacuse i am using the same day 1 save every time
Ya but your entertained aren’t you?
I got a super germany in 1836
by changing the game files.
wow very impressive mhmmmm
Up next, forming super germany without opening the game.
that would be pretty hard
@@connorvic3just have someone else open the game.
That way you can form super Germany, without opening the game (yourself)
Now to speed it up again. You might be able to cut time down with a more laggy multiplayer lobby lol
Bro, I don’t even know how to play these games and I’m watching this obscure record here
avg youtube algorithm moment
video ends at 10:28
Thanks!
how do you know?

Impressive, very nice
let’s see paul allen’s super germany
Since when did the other big german guy just accept integration into Super Germany? Was that always the case or an update patch?
it has always been the case that a genial amicable or genial friendly austria will accept unification im not quite sure why it went genial in this case but the plan was to get a trade agreement which makes it cooperative and then when i went friendly it was gonna go genial
@@connorvic3 I thought you had to drop their rank down? Well, the more ya know. Either way, well done, dude. Gonna try this myself. Lol
@@infini_ryu9461 lol, i always did form super geramany, but was way slower than forming germmany because Austria hates you
@@infini_ryu9461dropping rank was mandatory in Victoria 2.

Id watch the rest of the run it was verry impressive

oh that would explain how ludi managed to make a run almost as fast as mine in 1.8 ig its just more common maybe
crazy recommendation, i must try this some day
But Alsace...
Do the countries that research nationalism always the same or is it RNG at the beginning of the run?
its rng at the begining
@@connorvic3 so, in short you made a Jan 1st save and Jan 6th Save and used the 6th over and over again to determine each countries research?
Do you get claims on livonia this way though?
thank you connor vic 3 may i ask how many hours do you have on vic 3
1241hours

The starting attitudes are random. What you can do is start a new game (not the same save file) and hope for better.
@@TheKorbi that makes sense, thank you

it wouldnt really be any better than my run since you still have to wait for the research to complete either way
