Sorry I'm late for this comment b, but at the end of the day it's still a dub for Marlon because he came correct and showed respect regardless, just makes him look better in the long rub. 🤙🤙
Who else has Flex quizzed like that before they spit? No one - and then that reaction at the end??? Whack.
J.i.D had him stumped too
he just spit the hottest freestyle ive heard in awhile and funks reaction was "so...anxiety???" is he ok?
It's not a freestyle, those were all writtens. They were good bars but he didn't go off top and he didn't change the flow of his writtens to match the beat
@@DETay999 he killed the beat, listen carefully
@@treydavis5159 lyrics were good but flow was off for the beat due to it being a written from another song
@@DETay999 so for that he gets such reaction from flex?
@@DETay999 definitely matches the beat Dumbass
It’s disrespectful to not acknowledge this man’s greatness. He got BARS
Did he really just not even give the man any acknowledgment at all and only talk about his anxiety!??
Unfortunately yes, that's exactly what happened.
The Trusty_Dusty does he really need 2?😂 marlon has always spoke for himself.
he never really acknowledges anyone. lets them do their thing then leave lol
The Trusty_Dusty word. Wack ass flex showin why he’s on his way out
@@z_mentz614 yea he does, he's just racist. Remember his love fest with Tyler the Creator. That wasn't too long ago. I'm sure you can remember. Either that or he just don't like dude.
“The only thing saving you is how crazy is my schedule” nice
Funk Flex Lowkey Down played tf outta homie like he ain’t eat a whole 9 min freestyle smfh 🤦🏻♂️
so uuhhhhhhh tell me bout this "anxiety"... as if the word doesnt explain itself. smh flex
"Soooo... When you STRUGGLE" gave homie a quiz on hip hop and everything....bro was killing it
FTOBooz3 big facts
Yo Flex.......That was straight sad and odd how you treated Marlon. Like, an apology is in order. Dude is the truth
Anthony Blanco ON GAWD
Just listened again an still loved it Marlon Craft... Flex should be ashamed of himself is the best way i can put it without cursing
Shout to Sway and Heather B... they gave him props after his 5 Fingers of Death. Flex just brushed him off and wanted to ask probing questions about anxiety smh lol.
SC2point0 seriously. Flex’s attitude was straight trash. Like, why?
Daryl Amandes he always a vagina bro, that’s just flex
Sway from the bay. We rock differently over here. Not sure why flex hated on him. Not called for. Sway gave him props.
"A lot of folks blind to who they are, clayton bigsby" that chappelle reference though
" I played Texas hold em with the chips on my shoulder" harder than hard
J D chips on my back*
No chips on my shoulder
J D That was my favorite 🔥
Lizard wizard?
@@RonaldMcGhee yeah wassup bro
I still come back to this every so often and glad I do. Crushed it.
If you close your eyes & just listen to his bars you can't deny Marlon Craft's just destroyed these beats!
With BARS like those, leave your eyes open. Shouldn't matter what you see.
Even if you don't close your eyes...he went crazy top 10 maybe 5
i’ve watched this video several times and i still cant believe after all them bars and he asked about his anxiety 🤦🏽♂️man flex u trippin
I feel you- but also, Flex asked about anxiety because he felt anxious. He felt like he was being called out and when he tried to follow each line he realized he was too stupid to keep up. Furthering his anxiety. So he spent the whole cypher wondering if he was the guy who was about to compare Marlon to other white rappers. He spent the whole 10 min wondering if he was being punked.
@@mariosola1 Somewhat true, good catch. I also noticed that Flex was thinking the entire time. What was he thinking about so hard?
@@Alex_Justified Imma be honest, ive wathcing this dozens of times since and I dont know if I was right. I mean I think I was in part, but I was just mad cause Marlon looked like he was being disrespected. I almost wonder if there is more too this clip. like could flex have had to get to a commercial or something and then when they came back on he got back into talking about the cypher? idk, i feel bad for calling flex stupid hes clearly not at all and is a legend in his own right.
@@mariosola1 I kinda feel that Flex didn't want to give him credit, thus side stepping the conversation. He was amazed at his performance but I don't think he wanted to give credit for whatever reason.
@@Alex_Justified or flex has heard some of the best lyricists over the years and a written freestyle just seems aiight
His last name is Craft and his initials are MC. He was defo born for this.
No cap
ua-cam.com/video/5L6wyKPWzCE/v-deo.html&feature=share
Damn.
Marlon is his first name, but Craft isn’t his last name.
Never heard of this dude before but he just secured a spot in my music rotation for sure. That was one of the craziest freestyles I’ve ever heard
Flex the type of dude he talking about 🤔🤣 that's why he salty
Facts!!
Thought the same thing lol
Damnnnn hahah factsss
Yep. it was the same on the Jack Harlow video. I'd go on a limb and say the say "the old heads and baseball caps need to fall back', then mentioning "having his hat on like flex" was a direct shot. He was disrespectful to both of them.
Yoooo this dude is better then 98 maybe 99 percent of rappers these days. Props
Chill
Marlon Craft is a underground rapper.. He’s hotter than most mainstream artists but the underground scene has so many emcees that can spit.
@@user-xb4fm5rx8h not like this dude though
💯
@@nate312 he is your favourite rapper favourite rapper
Possibly the best freestyle on flex or any radio show ever.. ever..
Up there with griselda and black thought
Mysonne and Ray Vaughan are damn good
Disagree, it’s a lot of freestyles out there. But it’s good
@@RailzPrideRock❤
“ You can keep the attitude and the fear that that you hide you between but when the truth is in the room don’t you dare lie to me” perfect like for how flex was acting
Marlon’s going to be a legend by the time he’s done.
Ya right..nick grant would already be on his way there and hes way nicer thn this dude and gets overlooked everyday
Lol
Nick Grant-Funk Flex views: 355k (3 years old)
Marlon Craft-Funk Flex views: 529k (less than 6 months old)
Nick Grant-Sway in the morning views: 381k (4 years old)
Marlon Craft-Sway in the morning views: 520k (7 months old). Also 999k on his 2 year old video.
I’d say it’s safe to say who’s gaining popularity faster. Nick Grant isn’t bad, but Marlon is a better story teller. Not many people leave Sway speechless, and he did. He won’t be a legend to people like Flex, but at least he’s staying true to hip hop.
"Almost got 8 but around 24 they made me Mamba" RIP KOBE
I'm a little lost by Flex's reaction to one of the best freestyles of the year.. on his show..
Listen to lyrics closely
This freestyle is underrated what, the flow, the energy. Crazy
“ I made a livin, off what ate me up privately” 😤
Gerod Evans i felt dat
Most underrated freestyle dis year & it’s finna end🤯👀
Dude was definitely spittin, flex wack for trying to be Dr.Phlex afterward.
NSG LifeStyle BARZ
NSG LifeStyle hilarious
That was hard
One of the best freestyles I’ve seen...this guy is unreal 🔥
“Shadier than my assumed mentor” mannn 🔥
@Sunsere F Yes.
@Sunsere F lol i bet u goto rap battles and more then 90% of the " read between the lines " go over ur head 😂
Insane bar 💯
Yep
Ive heard this guy since way back, glad to see him with funk flex, I like that
you just rhymed lol
Craft is totally talking bout his inner self and being able to grind to extremely tough times mentally....there's different levels of BARS...it's almost like a psychologist spitting bars
One of the greatest freestyles in Flex's streaming history. I revisit this video all the time.
I never heard of this kid until I just heard him doing a Knicks interview in the NY Post podcast, and said let me check out this freestyle.... FIRST OFF, from the interview, I though this Cat had Brown skin, was SHOCKED he was so called, white! IDGAF what tone his skin is, THIS CAT WAS DEEP, ENTERTAINING AND GOOD AF! SHAME ON YOU FLEX, SHAME!
This and black thought are my tops of course he gave black thought respect and some how not this dude he is sleeping hard almost seems he's the kinda guy who think white people shouldn't rap but anyone who structure there rhymes and Flo like this and have a real message is a real artist. Fire
He's got some pretty dope songs dude. He does a whole rap about all the NBA teams. He's real big on NYC rappers and you can tell he studied the game. He may not get the views because they aint club songs, but to those who appreciate art............
no cap never heard of this dude was gonna skip cause he looked corny.... boy i was wrong
right there with you haha he killed it
straight fire
Never judge the book by the cover homie
Honestly, those are the best rappers.
Me too. He killed it
This might be one of the best freestyles I've ever seen
Mikey Bee stop it
You haven't seen much freestyles huh
I’m not the one saying it’s one the best
@@mauricewillis5741 why u lurkin to disagree with everyone? Bruh this guy went off and is definitely one of the best ive seen in a minute. Prove me wrong G
WristyonTwitch never said it wasn’t dope but he ain’t messing wit no one from Griselda they freestyles on here killing this
man i'm watching this in 2021 after just learning about Marlon, The way Flex Reacts once he's done, rushing in a subject of self reflection and observance after this man just spilled his soul out to you just isn't it. Props to Marlon Craft. Man Has Bars Like A Key Bank.
"Tryna balance MALICE while putting together CLIPSE for online, like I was PUSHing '09" - I'm sold on this dude.
yeah that was slick
Yeah mjita oa betsa
🔥
The infamous Craft blessing us with another freestyle
Damnnn he paid his homage to the freestyle goat Black thought but also saying he's here to prove he can also spit bars well Marlon Craft mission accomplished you have a new fan 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Honestly one of THE hardest flows I've ever heard. You know he went off the top too.
“You wanna make the team work harder then. A lot of y’all get cut first like the barber friend.” Those random little bars in the verse are so dope
The Llama that was sum else 🤦🏾♂️🔥
I feel like this might be the best Funk Flex freestyle.
TheReal Otitis it’s nice, but it’s not Black Thought
"A lot of folks blind to who they are Clayton Bigsby" that bar was for flex.
facts, no printer.
So was the first bar "don't compare me to the dudes you about to compare me to"
I ain’t gunna lie. I didn’t like him until I seen this. And I had to listen to it a couple times. This is top 10 I have seen on flex. Ever. And I’ve seen them all.
Marlon Craft got mad bars and flex needs to give that man his due frfr
This dude has been killing it. Y’all better wake up
So happy to see another stan on here. Big ups!
"A lot of folks blind to who they are Clayton Bigsby" that was hard 😤
Marlon super respectful from the beginning, very nice dude. Then almost burns the house down with his bars and Flex doesn't show him respect at all
3 years later, still upsetting how disrespectful Funk is here.
Still ……in 2024
It’s dope to see him push through his anxiety with hip hop... kid is 🔥🔥🔥
ua-cam.com/video/_8eZ5sswIx0/v-deo.html
mad respect for marlon and his crazy bars. he deserves more recognition.
That "Almost got 8 but round 24 it made me Mamba" line hits so much harder now after what happened to Kobe! #RIP_KobeBeanBryant🐐
"i stand behind what i write, but never backwards "back words", marlon is too fucking good.
*”..comin’ up like Nasir name backwards, the people JONES-ing for the real” 🔥🔥🔥 (Nas = Nasir Jones. Nasir backwards = Risan/ Risin’.. comin’ up = rising, some ain’t catch that)*
Fucking crazy
He said "out here tryna front like the APPEAL ain't MASSive." Nas is one of the founders of MASS APPEAL. Then he followed that up with "like a mc ain't coming up, like nasir name backwards, its risan/rising." Then he said "to people jonesing for the real again, its here family" jonesing means to fixate on something and jones is nas last name. A lot of people caught the nasir name backwards bar but they missed the rest.
Flex testing him in the beginning but def didn’t know about that!
Jesus man i did a reaction to this, but this was too hard to catch on a first listen. Dude had loads of bars on this song tbh.
I was looking thru the comments to see if anyone else caught that. Straight 🔥🔥
"Your boy comin up like Nazir name backwards" Rizan. Fire
Problem Child my name Nazir
Nasir. Jones. You know, Nas?
"This emcee coming up like NASIR name backwards, I'm risan (risin'). The people JONES-ing for the real..."
Problem Child 🔥🔥🔥🔥
He said dudes is shady like my “assumed” mentor 🔥🔥🔥🔥💯
Facts!!! You know how many people missed that... when really it's Black Thought "I think"
The Lean Ranger! I actually thought that was a mediocre line. He had way more harder ones in there
nmessai215 he did have way harder lines but I think it was clever in the sense he knows the first thing ppl are gonna think and he’s dispelling it from the jump. 💯
Crazy part is sounds nothing like Eminem! #Factz 👀😏😬 - JohnDIGG@
The Lean Ranger! Yeah iLL 🤒 LINE.🔥
one of the best radio freestyle i have ever heard my top 5 this guy
he's fire flex looked like he didn't want him to be there at first
He buggin u seen Marlon craft just came w lyricism metaphors bars everything
“And now we programmed to be pros at gramming!” Because I’m an astute student of bars, I had to listen to this a couple of times in a row to absorb what this kid was spitting. 💥💥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Then went ahead to big up Black Thought’s out-of-this-world 10 min freestyle in this one! This kid is for really real!
I don’t know how this dude can just constantly evolve and grow further and further. But he really a legend in the making
This dude deserves recognition he's speaking facts💯💯
Everything Marlon said and all Funk Flex heard was anxiety. Smdh. That's why I prefer Sway. MC is a true emcee. Dude's a beast.
100
I like Marlon Craft he’s dumb nice-a real lyricist.
I prefer Sway
@Astro it don't matter all bars
100%
Sway better than everyone

Brother Ali podcast interview got me to visit this. He gave his take on this situation that was very interesting. Amazing how composed he was after completely killing this and not even getting the slightist possitive reaction. Salute to this man. Glad to see comments backin the undeniable talent that was displayed.
