I understand he needs to prove himself at a crucial moment of his career but for me I think this wouldn’t be a good move as he may think he’s above us. Also the West Ham injury curse would knock him out 😂

The difference is, we have 4 left footed wingers now; Bowen, Kudus, Guilhereme and Cornet and have zero right footed wingers. Its about balance.

for all we know he wants a traditional winger on the left and an inside forward on the right - or for the wingers to play narrow and wingbacks to provide width
or one side to be creative and look for a pass while the offer makes the run looking for the ball
we are talking about attack, not defence, the natural foot of players and which side they play is no where near as important depending on the tactics the manager wants to deploy

I'd consider him. I know the impulsive reaction is to say no, mine was, but when I look at him, I know full well it's the profile of player we need (an inverted left winger). He has that creative edge alongside some decent pace, which i feel is going to suit Lopo's system. I'd be interested to see how many yards he's covering a game, because he doesn't look or seem the most 'industrious' player. Wesley is still my preferred option, but I see some similarities. Elanga would interest me also. Need an inverted LWer and a CF this summer. Losing Fornals, Benhrama, Scamacca and now its rumoured Ings could be leaving (thank god), we need to replace those profiles in the squad with better quality. Even if it means 1 for 2; so replacing Ings and Scamacca with one quality CF, and replacing Benhrama and Fornals with one quality right-footed winger.
