I love that these are smaller. I tend to make bigger journals for my own personal use but I found that friends who aren't into journaling (at this point) really would prefer something smaller. The stapler tip is a great idea. I did get a long reach stapler a while ago. Centering the staples is what's tricky for me. So, I put two small tick marks on the sides if the stapler in line with the stapler holes. Really helps me line things up correctly. And, of course I think this is a lively project. Will have to make one up for my "Joie Sampler" journal.

Thank you for this! 🥰 I'm in the process of making my first junk journal and am still figuring out what I want in it. Every little thing I learn makes it both easier and harder... but I'm having fun figuring it out as I go along.
So far I have added 3 signatures, but haven't stitched them. Instead I've tied them in so that I can remove them and add more if I want, or make changes to them as I go along. This will be my daily journal for the rest of the year, so one signature is for each month. I'm really enjoying the process of making my journal but find it can be quite challenging at times.
It's normal to feel it's a bit challenging....this is a hugely enjoyable and creative journey. I'm so pleased that you're on it!! Welcome to my channel Ebba, great to meet you!!🥰👍🌹

Joie, you always come up with something different and this is one of my favorites! I love tab binding, and using sewing machine to sew signatures, and I love the stapling technique! I have been saving that white foamy packing for something but didn't know what, and now I do. I love your work, and you just keep getting better and better!
