Rangers fan here, but my son supports Hearts. I know your history and the sacrifice of the Hearts players and fans in WW1. You have a history to be proud of, and I'm glad you celebrate it. Great work.
Total respect to these brave people who stood up to be counted. Scottish football has a few heroes, definitely. William Angus , awarded the Victoria cross in WW1 is another story worth looking at.
I know this comment is really late, but back around 2009 Hearts was one of the first soccer shirts I bought here in the States...the maroon was the color of my alma mater, and I figured that any Scottish team that would wear a heart as a badge must be tough as hell. Thanks again Sam for another excellent review. I’ve watched every one of your videos and this has to be one of the very best you have done. Very much appreciated.
Quality video. Regarding Remembrance and hearts, Twenty one years ago II had the privilege of working on a dementia assessment unit, as a student nurse. I met a lot of amazing people but a man that I often think about was a man who was on the books of hearts but joined up and fought in the 8th Army in North Africa in WW2. He loved Hearts and love football. In different era he’d have loved this channel. The two Edinburgh teams really do have the best names. They kinda compliment each other. On another point; I really liked that Aberdeen kit. Spot on video. Thanks.
I'd love to go on the tour. Visited Edinburgh in July 2006 when they were playing a Champions League qualifier in Murrayfield so always have a soft spot for them. Great city and team.
