Yes! Everybody Wants to Rule the World is THE best song option on Guardians, I teared up a little the first time riding it because I felt like a kid again!
I’ve ridden Cosmic Rewind a handful of times but my most memorable has to be when this song was playing. It just gives an immense feeling of Euphoria when paired together for some reason.
I love september, don’t get me wrong, but everybody wants to rule the world feels like you’re really floating through space, it hits different. Both vibes are very good though.
My dad met up with his boss at disney and told us the best and worst rides. He told us not to go on mission space because it will make you throw up. Plus it gives you bags to throw up in.
Our absolute must-do at Epcot (it's not really a ride) is the Pixar Shorts. Beautiful ground-breaking animation and relaxing in air conditioning - we never miss it!
Can’t wait to ride the Ratatouille Adventure ride… that’s been one of my most anticipated since watching videos of it during the beginning of the pandemic.
I say the Seas with Nemo is my gem for when I've had too much sun and need ac and a seat inside. Usually a walk on. Spaceship Earth is good, but getting stuck on the ride waiting usually happens for me when I'm backwards going down the star tunnel and the plastic molded seats are killing my back.
Another reason to ride Guardians is that each song can effect how much and how fast you turn so the ride will feel different depending on what song you get (according to a cast member that my younger sister asked)
Hey DFB ! Love y’all and have helped with our Disney Trip , I had an idea for a video maybe regarding why EPCOT can be for kids. My wife and wonder if others, think that since Epcot is Known for drinking around the world and great food that it isn’t family/kid friendly . I have never been to Epcot but hope you can make a family guide with kids for Epcot. Thank you for being amazing !
We spent a day at Epcot at the end of a trip for my daughter’s cheer competition in May. We got Genie+ and booked a boarding group for GOTG. We skipped two rides - Figment and Mission Space - and did the rest with Lighting Lane or short waits (Nemo, Soarin and LWTL early in the day and Gran Fiesta Tour). First time riding FEA and glad we got LL. It’s not worth a long wait. GOTG was our favorite. Well, for me and my daughter anyway. My wife wouldn’t stop saying “HOLY S***!!!” 😂
Thanks for the guide, going back next year and watching this i realise i have done only half the rides, skipped nemo as i assumed it was the same as the one in Paris.
I love the Guardians ride! But I feel like these videos announcing the launch is kind of a spoiler though tbh…it’s so fun and thrilling the first time you ride when you don’t know what’s gonna happen! I think that’s also why you don’t just take off directly from the loading zone
It's beyond me that Soarin was barely mentioned in this video, it's actually my second favorite ride in all of WDW, after Tower of Terror (I still haven't been on Cosmic Rewind). One that I have skipped many times is Frozen. In fact I did ride it just once and would only do it again if the line is 20 min. max. Absolutely not worth the crazy wait times it usually has.
@@Truly_Sithari I love the felling of it but I understand that some people might feel uncomfortable with the drops. You’re strapped in a seatbelt, so there’s really no way to think you’ll be flying around the elevator lol. It’s themed so wonderfully, that even someone who knows absolutely nothing about Twilight Zone can enjoy this ride. Try to overcome fear and go for it! 😄
@@400collector Oh I shall! I recently rode the riddler ride from the WB land in Abu Dahbi and it was so fun. Like at first I was scared of rollercoasters and stuff but not anymore. Is it like a breeze of air when falling?
While Cosmic rewind blew my rollercoaster hating mind (I LOVED IT, especially since we got Everbody Wants To Rule The World) my favorite will forever be hitting up the margaritas and getting on the Gran Fiesta Tour. My family hates it but they will all get on just to make me happy.
Went to Epcot with my fiancé a couple weeks ago and he LOVED mission: space. When I told him it’s one of the most intense rides in Disney, he didn’t believe me. I told him lets do the green mission first and we did which was chill, and then we did orange. I knew from watching your videos it was going to be no joke and that’s for sure lol. My face literally was pulling back. My fiancé loved it so much he went on again at the end of the night. I told him this time to go by himself because it was too intense for me 😂
We loved mission space. We did both sides twice. My family( kids from 5-10 years old) didn’t think it was very intense. It was a very fun ride. Guardians and Tron are more intense. My little guy loves going fast though.
Ratatouille Advernture- Great Ride 😄 Frozen Ever After- Umm.. Thats an ok ride i guess 🤔 Grand Fiesta Tour- Ok Ride 🙂 Jouney Into Imagination- Really needs an update 😞 The Seas - Nice Ride 😃 The Land - Calm Ride 😌 Guardians - Never Been On 😐 Test Track - Such A Great Ride 🥳 Spaceship Earth- Awesome Ride 😆 Soarin- Sometimes a long line ☹🙂🥳 Mission Space: Triggers Motion Sickness 🤮
For guardians, I feel like the faster the song, the faster the ride feels. That’s why I don’t usually prefer everybody wants to rule the world but I do love the song
Cosmic Rewind doesn't have very strong G-forces, definitely not lengthy periods of them, there are still a few moments when you'll feel it though. There is a LOT of movement and that can make the ride very intense (and it is one of Disney's longer coasters). It's definitely fun, but I'd recommend reading some reviews from people who may also dislike G-forces to help make your decision.
I loved the Guardians ride but I will never ride again. I was so motion sick from that, even though I had motion sickness sea-bands and motion sickness patches on, it took me an hour to recover enough to be able to walk. :(
yeah its horrible if you get motion sickness i wont be riding it again. A guy on my train stood up at the end and face first face planted on the ground as well from motion sickness lol
I love EPCOT for its educational value, but I really miss Ellen's Energy Adventure and Innovations. They were really mentally stimulating for me. At least we still have Test Track and Journey Into Imagination with Figment. I also wish Japan got a ride. Maybe with Kingdom Hearts 4 being developed, they could make a ride based on Quadradum.
My mom & I are going in Sept. and can't wait, Space ship earth is the best ride in Epcot but now that GOTGCR is there Idk now will have to see after I go there. I was last there 25 yrs. ago
The one(s) I never wanna skip are the good old fashioned ones. Spaceship Earth, Living with the Land, and even though it’s sadly not the original version, Journey into Imagination. Usually Nemo as well, but that’s not really an original EPCOT one considering it’s IP. Test Track is also one to never miss out on, and Gran Fiesta Tour. Overall though, mostly those first three, we always do them when we go. Also, I’m gonna ride Guardians of the Galaxy for the first time on Saturday, so wish me luck and hope I don’t… y’know.
Coming from a many-yrs DLR background, never been to Epcot, so several otherwise great rides fortunately not up-top priorities. Plenty of newer things to do, hope to do them in one day… Ok, maybe 1 1/2 days. Mostly want to experience the many Lands, so that’s me ;)
we are going to Disney World, is there a video about the rides that only Non transfer disabled guests can go on so I don't have to be confused by the park maps labels again? Ive been disappointed because rides with wheelchair signs, I still couldn't go on. I was so excited to go on Rise of the Resistance. It looks so smooth, and tracless like Ratatouille which I can ride.
I miss Maelstrom. I always preferred the troll theme over the Frozen theme. Frozen feels like it should be at Magic Kingdom, whereas Maelstrom felt like part of its respective host country culture, which is the point of Epcot.
Epcot right now is VERY subjective to personal opinion. Factors to depend on are nostalgia, thrill, love of ip, hatred of ip, educational value, attention span, and maturity. I think the worst ride is the Seas with Nemo, as It was never a very interesting ride but now it just feels like a cheapened nothing. They should just revert it to a scifi feel or revamp it
The only reason I have any Epcot reservations is so I can try to get in the queue. I personally don't really care for Epcot otherwise. I'm a thrill rode kinda girl. Wished they put this ride in Hollywood Studios. Would've made more sense
Ratatouille! I loved figment, also the last part of figment isn't bad, but you have to know to close your eyes. Ratatouille was while good, but made me and mom dizy.
I’ll be heading to Disney this January and I thought I read somewhere Spaceship Earth will be closing down for good starting in 2024. I hope I’m mistaken as the ride takes me back to the 80’s when I was a kid and one of the few rides that hasn’t changed. I’m looking at you Maelstrom
I don’t see how frozen ever after was the best choice for Epcot for the Norway place because frozen has nothing to do with Norway and Malestrom does because it took place in Norway
