    Wow! Thanks for the video. Impressive that the focus was so precise considering it was windy.
    By the way, don't worry about the sound. I watched the video for the content and understand that since you are outside it might be windy and noisy. Good Job.

    Maybe do a video on the computer processing and what you used to to get the final pic.

      good to know. I preordered in early July. So long as I've got it in time for my 4/8/24 eclipse trip I'll be happy. High point said I could expect mine by the end of the year 🤞

    Excelent video. Could you show a video of post-processing the image obtained with the S50?

      Thank you so much! I do have a video on basic image processing in Pixinsight that you could use on seastar images. I have another video in the works on processing the Pleiades from the seastar that I should have soon. Thanks for watching 👍

    Great review, thanks! How far about does the wifi reach? Also, how long can one expect to wait for delivery? Thanks!

      I haven't pushed the limits on the Wi-Fi yet but I was probably 30 to 40 ft away outside and I was inside.
      I believe if you were to order it now, you would expect it sometime in the beginning of the year. Thanks for watching much appreciated! 👍

    I just had a kool thought. As I’m doing visual, I’m going to have the Seestar S50 running right next to me and watch it develop on my phone. To me that sounds like a great idea.
    I did get an email from High Point Scientific. I should have it at the end of November

      It took about 1.5 weeks. There isn’t any tracking to speak of because of Royal Mail @@brgarrison418

    It's weird that the trunk is not at the same place relative to the stars before and after processing the image.

    • @Astrolips2000
      @Astrolips2000  11 місяців тому

      It's not weird, I cropped the image during processing so
      the position of the image would change! Thanks for watching!

    • @Astrolips2000
      @Astrolips2000  10 місяців тому

      The app is for your phone or tablet and I do believe, if you run Windows 11, you can run the seestar app on that also. 👍

    They needed to include a mount that isnt alt azimuth and they also needed to include better light filters and a better sensor, its such a let down they made a decent device, but the things it needed for me to go wow its worth the price are not included.
