Heeey P! I agree with you on your pros!!lol I've driven OTR and Regional and I honestly like OTR better lol. It has its moments but the open road and being by yourself alot, you have to have a love for it. Be safe out there👊

Dude foreal it’s competitive getting a local job in any major city because there are so many applicants. I’ve applied for multiple drayage companies hauling containers but it’s hard to get in the door. I’ve got 2 years experience OTR no violations hazmat tanker and TWIC card. Still haven’t found a local job I’ve been looking since November if you have a local job hang onto it for dear life
I heard you talk about loving OTR. Me personally, I have never driven OTR up to date. I started out regional with my first company because i wanted to be close to home. I drive intermodal freight locally in Dallas and pay is 👎🏿. So for new drivers who wanna drive otr for a year and then go local, its not really worth it tbh. New drivers should get all their endorsements so they can move around in trucking and go truly where the money is. Do you have hazmat??
@@HeyArnoldGotAFootballHead they pay by the miles and you get load pay. Im lucky if i get 3 loads in a day. I got my hazmat and im bout to leave them and find a hazmat hauling company to get more pay
Do you ever get anxiety while driving?? Lately i been gettin anxiety when im driving around hills or bridges or coming up on sharp turns on the freeway
OTR, sucks after a while....away from home, sleeping in the truck, showering in truck stop, standing in line to use the bathroom, eating crappy food lack of exercise, peeing in bottle reefer noise, lot lizards nah ya'll can have it, rather be home every night sleeping in my own bed eating healthy food, getting paid for every hour you're in the truck.
Pulling containers i worked 10-12 hours a day and wasn’t no guaranteed pay per day. You could work 10 hours and make more than you did working 12 the next day 🤦🏾♂️

The OTR Experience is the truth , I definitely recommend that for new truckers because u learn the road
It's not easy to start as OTR. Start regional and than move OTR after you missed a couple of exits and got used to know how to get out of trouble 😊 😂
I been watching you and never commented.... But I love your motivation girl you are so funny and classy
Agree ❤
You've got such a cool, laid back vibe.

I’m definitely not mad at trucking either I love taking home that 6 figures a year trucking has been nothing but good to me
