Higher pitched than I’d expect from a ride that size. Seems to be a nice balance between ping and definition with the right amount of wash.
I was surprised as well and that's what I love about A Customs, my 15" sounds higher and brother than any other 15" I have played or owned.
Own one and love it.
I can see why Vinnie used the 22" model a lot as this has almost the same characteristics, getting a 22" in Australia commands a long wait and I would rather play one in store than just order one.
I had the 21” A Anniversary but I really didn’t like what I was hearing but I do like this one.
I have that one here as well and I do prefer this 23” over the 21” as it just has the perfect amount of wash, ping and bell.
