Phil felt like he didn't stand up and draws parallels between himself and his ancestors. His ancestors allowed for their names to be misspelled. However, Phil forgets that keeping a cool head is what got him to the position of boss.

Someone should have told Phil that he is allowed to legally change his last name back to 'Leonardo'. It is just a small bit of paperwork. He could have done it decades ago, including while he had all that free time in the can (20 years, in case yous were unawares of dat). Dino Crocetti became Dean Martin, for god's sake, and this is a smaller change (just one letter) than that.
