Hate to agree with Steven A, but he called it right. The Warriors gets lazy with KD.
Not so much they get lazy but I say more complacent. More lackadaisical and defer to Durant at times because of how highly efficient he is and don't play with force and max effort on every possession. Warriors at times know they don't have to play great to win and it shows up in their focus and attention to detail. The first season with Durant or the second is different from the third because they relax so much. You see a difference in their play when scared or backed into a corner the first two season Warriors come back.

No Max, nobody owns the players! Not physically, not emotionally, not sentimentally not ever! Don't say it even as a euphemism. It's a toxic statement and it's loaded. That said the Dubs know who they have in KD. They've always known. They've always appreciated him too. So readjusting is a coaching challenge as much as a player's challenge. The Dubs muscle memory is pretty good. In fact it's an underappreciated part of who they are & is embodied in their mantra #StrengthInNumbers and the team first style of 🏀. #DubNation knows who the guys are. They'll be fine as they wait for KD and DeMarcus to return.
Just like the rockets have a cap on how much their analytic style can win, Max's analytic arguments have a cap on how correct they can be. KD is clearly better than Kawhi.

Life long Warrior fan. I wasn't surprised they beat the Rockets in game 6. They had something to prove.
Clay was freed up to do his thing, and the bench proved they aren't window dressing. The team got back to their original core and with the bench won the game. The road ahead is very tough, but the Warriors know with/without Kevin Durant they can win the championship. Tough times make tougher people (yeah, an original).
Just very happy I'm not a Lakers fan.....

This win cements the Warriors as a legit dynasty. It seems like in the last week, everyone forgot that the Dub's were GREAT and won rings before Durant. - Also, the "experts" are already picking the Blazers and/or Nuggets to beat the Warriors in the next round.

One game being clutch doesn’t make one a clutch player. It has to be consistent. I don’t thin Stephen Curry is a clutch player either and I am a big fan of his and the Warriors.
There is NO proof that GSW struggle in the post without KD because it never happen yet. As far as we know, GSW were great before KD joined.

KD is not a security blanket. KD is being use to prolong the longevity career of the REAL GSW superstar players. KD is in the team but he's not in the circle. KD is going to leave, everyone in the circle of the team knows that. After he leave, normal day back to work for the splash brother. Nothing changes.

If durant was present in game 6 vs rockets, rockets ties the series. They won it eventhough KD was out, because the splash bros realized that they need to give their all. Warriors is hard to beat

As you can see in game 6, The real step and klay was proven
