For those of you who are wondering. Using discord calls is considered cheating because the imposters have no way of countering it before it happens or knowing it until it's too late. It's very easy for the imposters cover to be blown when dead man tell their tales to the living.
Seen this happen twice. Once was a 10 player game where I was the Imposter. Made it to final 4 and someone pushed the button and announced that I was the Imposter and knew it because his sister told him I killed her. They booted me out, stealing what likely would have been a win. The second time I wasn't the imposter. When someone said that their buddy told them the imposter was Red, I said "you know that's cheating, right?" I then suggested everyone vote out the cheater, which we did, before turning around and booting Red. Thankfully Red was a good sport about it.
Never happened to me. What happens for me is everyone votes the cheater off and then says challenge time: beat game with tasks since we know who it is due to a cheater.

can I suggested modded some M67 frag grenade so that it's timing fuse will burn for approximately 30 second instead of 5 second then tapped those grenade on their mouth then tide up their hands,pull out the safety pin and let them running away in fear for 30 second before their head goes kaboom
I do it almost that way. My 2 friends and I, play with randoms. We mute our mics, when it's not emergency or report. But if two of us is dead, and third is impostor, we may talk about not to the game reliable things.

I feel the same. But its still cheating no matter what if everyone isn't on the discord. Cause they can exchange info faster than those in game who are only using text. If everyone's not on it, I consider it cheating.

I feel the same. But its still cheating no matter what if everyone isn't on the discord. Cause they can exchange info faster than those in game who are only using text. If everyone's not on it, I consider it cheating.
But what sucks is that you have to vote off an innocent because of there friends actions to cheat and tell them who it is.
Don't even tell them you died. You should only communicate during meetings, period

I despise discord cheaters. One time i was on a 53 crewmate streak. Then I finally got imp.Once I got imp, I had this really smooth kill but this discord cheater ratted me out. I begged everyone else, told them of my crewmate streak but they didn't care. THey didn't even care he was on discord. They voted me out. But guess what happened next round? Me and the discord cheater were imp, so I told everyone else that it's me and him because he can't ruin my rare imp game and get away with it.

i was playing with two of my family members, and one came into the room and told everyone it was my cousin. everyone voted the one who snitched and we let my cousin kill a bit more people before we won. sounds like the lobbies you join suck.

I did it once, realized my error, and corrected myself. Now I'm an Among Us detective.
