I have the Brother SE 1900, it has a removable embroidery arm. So it works as a sewing machine and embroidery machine. It also has a 5×7 hoop. I love it!!
I love my Brother Inovis NQ1600e. It’s a great machine with a 6x10 hoop. And I’m glad I’m not the only one who cut the pen holder and had the flaps move. Grrr.... I use my rotary cutter to trim the notebooks and use scissors for the curves, which makes not cutting the pen holder even more difficult! Thanks for an enjoyable video!
Oh! And I also stitch out my placement stitch for the holder before I tack down the FOE. Then tack down then out the holder vinyl down. That keeps the elastic a bit safer from the dreaded foot drag.
Love the tute! I recently stumbled across using glue sticks to tack the fabric and vinyl and FOE down and it works great! I have a Baby Lock Flourish II and LOVE it!
The pen holder is a great addition! I wonder what other kind of options you could add on. A ribbon bookmark? A connecting band for all of those tiny notebooks? A clear vinyl passholder? A card slot in the inside flap? Love it!
I bought a SE 625 for $380 at Walmart, it's a 4x4. I love it for now. It was a great sewing machine upgrade plus it embroiders. When prices go down I will upgrade to at least a 8x10. I can wait until after pandemic prices.
I just watched your hand sanitizer tutorial and I am so glad that I am not the only one having problems with thread cutter. I have the 550qe and my thread cutter has been broken since July 2020 and the technician here cannot seem to fix it. I have so many problems with my machine besides the thread cutter. It goes in the shop every other week
Thank you for thinking of us un- embroidery people. Lol. I'm looking at one of the Brother Innv. something. (I'm on a school bus) can't look up all the information on it right now. Lol
Wanted to add some crystals to a purse and fix some sandals I have with crystals set in them and wanted to know if you know anything about the machine you used on video if will work thnx again

Check out the Bernette B79 (for sewing and embroidery). Purchased mine from Overstock (3rd party seller was Sew Vac Direct) with 15% coupon code. Not inexpensive, but a whole lot less of an investment than a Bernina.
That is what I have too. Mine was a gift, although I got to pick the machine. I didnt know what types of things to look for though. It can't so the embroidery im interested in most, sadly. :/

I just adore you! I love that you leave all the oopsies. :) Thank you for all your videos. You continue to inspire me to make bags and other crafts.
These could make the cutest autograph books to take to Disney! It would be nice to add a loop for a carabiner to hook them to the outside of a bag!
I thought the same thing!! Perfect size for little hands
That would be a great traveler's notebook
Love your video tutorials. You have the best camera angles. Janome 500e or 550e are great choice with lots of larger hoops and very beginner friendly.
I love these single needle videos! So happy you’re looking for a more affordable option
The Janome 500e is a great option! I do all of my ITH digitizing on that model. The 550e gives 2” more in height.
I can’t handle this ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ I just got a brand new embroidery machine and I need to break it in. Perfect project.
I just love your videos

Omg I love it “I can’t believe I did that!!!! UGH! ....Now I gotta make another one... Yaaaaaaaay!” 🤣
A great option for less expensive embroidery machine is the Janome 550E embroidery only machine. It has a lovely large hoop.
Thank you Heather! I’ll check it out
I have done that with the pen loop several times ….. it makes your video even better
Such a cute idea and I love your fabric choices. Thank you!
BabyLock Flourish 2 is an awesome machine, and has 6x10 hoop
These are super cute!!! Thanks for the tutorial!!!

I really liked the mega hoop 😊
I would love to hear all about your new machine. Thanks Jessica

Jess, I’m sure you know, you can get a great buy on a used emb machine. Love all your videos.

I would love a tutorial on your Bernina. I have the same machine but I’m SUPER new to embroidery!
very nice project! thanks for sharing! 😊
I would love a tutorial about your Bernina that you used in the video today.
Check out sewingmastery.com and click on Bernina. You can select the machine type ams Sara will fall you thru every page of the owners manual.
Would love an overview of the Bernina B770QE. I have that exact Tula Pink edition you have! ❤️🥰❤️🥰❤️🥰🙏🙏

Love your tutorials! I have the BERNINA machines and absolutely love them. Can you do a tutorial on the hand sanitizers using the BERNINA machine?
Beautiful! Is there a pattern for a regular sewing machine? I don't have an embroidery machine that big.
I’ve seen Spencer Ogg has some notebook holder patterns. www.spencerogg.com/product/notebook-cover-sewing-pattern-a5/
@@OklaRoots thanks so much, got it! And something else...🤦🏽♀️
I have a 6x10 hoop that is multipositional, would this work? Brother Innovus 1250d
Do you have a version for domestic sewing machine?
Hello. Would you please tell me the measurement for the elastic? I got the file but I don’t see measurements for it.
I wish I could do this one without the embroidery machine.
Love these. But please please open the Facebook group again.
A cheaper embroidery machine with a 5x7 is the brother pe 770 it's pretty decent, on overstock it was $225
Can this be done with a Pfaff machine
Hi Jess, I love this!! Where can I find the pattern please?
Thank you so much for mentioning this! I originally forget to add the pattern link 🤦♀️ I’m so embarrassed!
@@OklaRoots thanks a lot Jess. No worries😘
Very cute! Love finding more stuff to do with my embroidery machine! (There’s no link to the Crashing Waves website.....oops Unless I missed it.)
Thank you so much for letting me know!! I got it fixed

😩my brother SE400 can only do 4x4 projects.😭
I’m always on the look for 4x4 patterns, but it can be hard.
