I left traumatized and brainwashed. Before that my father used to be violent both physically and emotionally to me until I stood up so much for myself and fought with everything I had. About two years ago I found my faith in Jesus and my life changed drastically, it’s a miracle. Hey, Liz. Thanks for this perfect video. When I watched the video I understood that all of my friends are just insecure people. I always thought that they were joking or I don't know maybe they are trying to help me. But now, I understood that they are just insecure people and trying to make less this insecurities. They were like "oh, your hair looks ugly", laughing at me or "why did you change your profile?, the previous one were better". And I thought they were just trying to help me. But now with your help, I get it. I get it that they are blessed to have me as their friend and they should try to be the best friend to have me by their side. At first I was scared to lose my friends and be alone but now I know that I've got myself so why should I need another person? I'm better when I have myself. I need friends that who could worship me, care for me, want the best things for me. I totally agree with Liz! I grew up very insecure and shy and this hasn't helped me develop my sense of self. I am still undergoing my journey healing process to get to know myself, my needs, my instincts, respect, love and getting more in touch with my sense of self. It was completely different to how I grew up where I was a complete people pleaser and lacking my sense of self, pretty empty and lost. Reframe your mind, seek healing, seek to know yourself with each day.

I heard from a friend that my ex is in a deep hole with a drug problem since we broke up and I was about to contact him last night because I sort of blamed myself which my “friend” did too. He was so toxic and manipulative though. I was in a deep battle with myself last year struggling with body image and self worth because I told him my deepest insecurities when we were in a relationship and he used that against me in fights obviously. I am done with this chapter of my life and your video is kind of the closure for me. luckily, I moved to another country for now but still visit my hometown frequently where he also lives. But I will never contact him again.

At first I was scared to lose my friends and be alone but now I know that I've got myself so why should I need another person? I'm better when I have myself. I need friends that who could worship me, care for me, want the best things for me. I don't need and don't want a friend that always makes me insecure about myself, I don't need friends that only here to make me feel bad, neglected. So from today, I will find new and healthy friends and let other ones go. That's my opinion and I know I will make it happen. And one more thing, can you perhaps make a video about why we don't know what we want, what we feel and why we always feel like we are not good enough? If I need to explain it clearly, nowadays I have a feeling inside of me that makes me like yeah, I'm okay I love myself but something is wrong I don't know what is that, like I am happy the way I am but I'm feeling unhappy about the city I live in, my friends, my family. And I can't help it. It's getting on my nerves so much and I cannot find a way to solve it. What should I do? Should I go to a therapist or maybe do something to change things in my life? I would really appreciate if you answer it, thank you!

I totally agree with Liz! I grew up very insecure and shy and this hasn't helped me develop my sense of self. I am still undergoing my journey healing process to get to know myself, my needs, my instincts, respect, love and getting more in touch with my sense of self. It was completely different to how I grew up where I was a complete people pleaser and lacking my sense of self, pretty empty and lost. Reframe your mind, seek healing, seek to know yourself with each day.

Liz, I’m so grateful you uploaded this at the right time for me. I heard from a friend that my ex is in a deep hole with a drug problem since we broke up and I was about to contact him last night because I sort of blamed myself which my “friend” did too. He was so toxic and manipulative though. I was in a deep battle with myself last year struggling with body image and self worth because I told him my deepest insecurities when we were in a relationship and he used that against me in fights obviously. I am done with this chapter of my life and your video is kind of the closure for me. luckily, I moved to another country for now but still visit my hometown frequently where he also lives. But I will never contact him again.
