No it’s not by the bait barge it’s a couple hundred feet before the bait barge is it’s right on the side next to the boat launch ramp and there are signs on the fence by the dock hopefully this helps
Oh sweet that should be a lot of fun I hope you guys have some insane luck out there, and I bet your son will be able to hold those rental rods, he’ll definitely get hooked on fishing 😂
Oh ya 100% if the mackerel or Bonita are fired up on baitfish during the warmer months , they will absolutely slam those jigs, and a cool little technique you can try is to use a sabiki rig and instead of using a weight on the bottom put the jig on instead so it’s a 2 in 1! Guarantee bit 🤙 good luck out there 😃
@Shneursulami ty so much for the reply bro..I just recently subbed to your channel and been binge watching..fished freshwater my whole life but completely new to saltwater..gunna try some of the spots in your vids next week
Ya for sure always love helping others out! I also started em with em freshwater but the salt is just a different world, I was instantly hooked, and thanks for the sub I appreciate it good luck out there next week, hope you kill it out there 🤙
Hey I'm going out on the New Del Mar on friday for a half day. Rock fishing is closed so it's just for bass and sculpin. I've only rock fished. Any recommendations on hook size? I got some coltsniper irons. You think those would work? Also do you know the rigs people were using? Double dropper loops, carolina rigs? Sorry for so many questions, you can ignore me if you want lol. I'm just looking for any insight.
So the funny thing is, I was just on that boat two days ago and the video is coming out tomorrow So personally myself, I tried using the double dropper loop myself and had a bunch of smaller grade fish then I was helped out with a giant 4oz jig head with a massive hook tail Hooking a massive piece of squid And put it deep in the rocks and pull them out before they pull you in I had a lot of fun, so hopefully you do too, and the jig head with a piece of squid is a game changer
22 must be a lucky number on that boat. I was on the same boat couple weeks back, i got the same bag number and absolutely killed it!
😂😂😂😂 I guess it is 22 is mine from now on, happy to hear you had a good day on that boat 👍
Videos are fireee
Thanks I really appreciate it 👍
Awesome! Thanks for the tip. Definitely gonna pick up a few before I go.
Ya dude it’s a awesome experience and the bass are big hopefully you pull up the giants
@@Shneursulami Thanks man.
Nice!
Yup it was awesome one of my favorite fishing days in my life
where does the boat pick you up from? from the bait barge?

nice video, I'm planning on going with my 10yr old son. The rods they provide on the boat, do you know if they are too big for him to hold. Thx

Bro would that same jig work off of a pier?

yo what do you need to bring if you go on the new del mar
They give you bait and if you have rods then you are good to go if you don’t then it’s 10 bucks to rent and they give you the rigs that are working
Had any luck getting Halibut, Bonita, or Barracuda ?
No not really only a couple out in the bay or out on the piers
What size line were you using
25-30 pound braid connected to a 15 pound fluorocarbon leader does the trick for me 🤙
Do you get enough length to deep drop with a 200 size reel
@isaacalexandercruz9045 with a full reel of 25 pound braid it hits right around that 200-300 foot zone
Hell yeah man ! Did you it the fish??
Dude thanks but no I didn’t eat the fish and when you see that water you won’t want to either lol
Keep it up with the videos! Nice to see other Jewish people enjoying fishing!
You are Jewish? And thanks for the support really appreciated
@@Shneursulami frum too
@@FishingforMemories bro that’s awesome maybe I one day we do some fishing together
@@Shneursulami sounds good, keep it up
