How nice to see you. Could it be that your films are simply getting better and better? Sound, music, images, storytelling. 💚 But I am also always impressed by how imaginatively and cleverly you reuse existing material. I'm already looking forward to your vegetable garden!
I can watch the work shop being swept a thousand times. The sound of the birds in your videos is beautiful as I sit in Palm Beach surrounded by birds tweeting 🙏🙏🙏Blessings
I am impressed again with the simple beauty of your home and the area. Watching your ingenuity and hard work makes me wish for a return to youth, health, strength and time to try again. Both of you are impressive. I hope for you happiness and peace and successful endeavors.
I just love the way you two let nothing go to waste! What a great use for the old wardrobe wood, and the little flap door with the handle gives it such character! Who knew particle board could be the basis for such charm!
Thank you for inviting us into your home this way! I always sit in anticipation for a new video. Having lived in Italy many years ago, I dream of returning and your videos are inspiring and hopefully one day to return. Thank you again. Ciao.
I so enjoy this video. You both work so hard and have made so much improvement. Can’t wait to see vegetable garden. The flower you transplanted are beautiful.
Isis I am very impressed with you I live in America and i have never seen a women work as hard as you, you are definitely not afraid of hard work and that is a very good characteristic of your personality, and your mind set , From what I have seen with my own observation you are a very good women you don't act like you are above anybody you would help anybody , I am so happy i started watching your videos you will inspire people to be better than what they are.
Beautiful content and editing….. as always. Thank you for sharing your life. It’s exciting to see you are on your way to 100k subscribers👏🏼👏🏼 Watching from Arizona in the USA😊
Excited for you both on your new garden! I, myself, don't have a 'green thumb ' but love to put in the effort with tomatoes, peppers, etc. I wish you the best of luck with the upcoming growing season.
Once again a beautifully shot video, it really is a treat for the eyes! I think just about everywhere in Europe have experienced unusual weather this past month, exceptionally wet or windy or cold or snow! We’re all waiting for just a glimpse of the potential of spring so we can get started on our summer veggies and flowers! Hopefully next week is somewhat dryer and kinder to you both.❤
I love the drone shots…you live in such a beautiful place. And that terracotta pot with the primulas. I never saw such beautiful terracotta until I visited Italy. Thanks for a lovely video.
I am jealous of your early spring weather. Feb. 2nd here in Northern Ontario Canada with temperature high reaching -8 oC and cloudy, snowy weather predicted for next 5 days. Dreaming of spring and seeing the spring flowering bulbs starting in April at the earliest, let alone vegetable gardening. Potatoes and onions from sets might be nice, easy crop for your first year garden, depending on soil, even if just a few hills of potatoes started from your potato peelings and bag of 100 seed onions. One or two tomato plants would provide rich rewards with super rich flavor, fresh or cooked. Love the idea of planting zucchini, as I am a fan of eating them too. I am dreaming of spring, summer and fall gardening and its rich rewards/satisfaction, as I look out the window at all the snow falling outside. LOL.
We have 2 cherry plums and many wild plum trees already that we can harvest from. We'll definitely add a few more (would love some mirabelle plums) but we'll go with cherries first. 🙂
Im glad to see you taking out the dead trees. In California it's having terrible wildfires. It's devastating to see . Thanks for this week's video. Here in Ohio we're still in winter and boy it's been cold.
You have no idea how massive the Palisades and Eaton fires were until you see it in person. About 80% of Altadena was destroyed (Altadena is an unincorporated area of Los Angeles County). It is a tight-knit community with homes that had been in the family for 3-4 generations. I live in Pasadena, about 3-5 miles from the center of the devastation in Altadena. It is heartbreaking, no words or hugs can, at this point, eliminate the hurt, sadness and grief. But Altadena is strong and determined to rebuild - at least most of them. Some will probably move on. Once again, life is forever changed for those who lost their homes. SoCal strong! 💪💪💪
Good day, love the area your using for garden tools , I visioned a long old beam hung across back wall to nail hang you shovels and etc ,one of the tall rolls of chicken wire in the corner with a tall plant inside and a white string of led lights for ambience. In front of the open window a bistro table n bar stools for a bottle of you wine tasting.strands of dried flowers hanging from atop over your work table…You can have garden potting party’s crafting and wind tasting . Love your outdoor area at that level as well ! Best wishes to you
I apologize but i do not remember your Husband's name but he has impressed me very much he has become quite the Craftsman from what i have seen how he has repaired all the old windows and built a few things .Very well done my applause to you both you have made quite an accomplishment since you have been living ware you are.
Weer een fijne aflevering en wat een mooie reacties ook. Dat moet vast deugd doen. Een goede week voor jullie, ik kijk uit naar de volgende aflevering !😊
Lovely as always.Your fencing will have to be very strong, to keep out the boar. I never managed it in Spain, the big males just pushed through and dug up my veggies.
Sorry to hear about kitty. So glad you are such good parents. Which kitty is it? I didn’t catch the name mentioned. Your videos are my weekly therapy. Thank you.
Your video products is great. I think I would be interested in your thoughts and process on how you plan to develop your property. I know the Italian state some say in thing. All of that would be interesting to me.
Hi Carla, we are interested. Can you please send us an email? If you go to our channel on a pc (not a phone or tablet), you can find our address in our channel details.
You have a lovely home on a beautiful piece of land where your work is never done. Now you will add agriculture to your list of things to do; it seems a natural progression. Thanks for the beautiful videos chronicalling your everyday lives.
Nice Vlog. Cherries are a good idea but 1 tree will be plenty in our experience in Liguria. Almonds are easy and nice and have beautiful blossom like the cherries. Black mulberries too and they both grow quickly. We had no luck with peaches or apricots - always got some disease or other. Wild cherries are good, but you probably have those already somewhere - great for cherrycello which was one of our favourites alongside limoncello, limecello and lamponecello. Strawberries don't work. For cherrycello, pick the ripe cherries and fill a kilner jar (no need to wash or remove stone). Then fill the jar to the brim with alcool (96% ethanol), shake and leave for a couple of months. Decant the liquid and add sugar water to taste (we liked it just strong enough so it wouldn't solidify in freezer as best served ice cold. Keep the cherries for desserts or for adding to confit duck.
We've shared the basic recipe in a previous episode - I always use the same one (400g white flour, 400g whole meal flour, 8g dry active yeast, 20g salt, 600/650ml water), but will add various fresh herbs, seeds and/or nuts and sometimes substitute 100g of whole meal flour for rolled oats, spelt or buckwheat. It needs to rise for 3x1 hour and has to be folded in between rising. Baking for 30-35 minutes at 200 degrees celcius. 😊
Mein Freund versuchte, eine Szene aus einem Liebesfilm nachzustellen, in der sie im Regen rummachen. Es endete damit, dass wir auf dem nassen Bürgersteig ausrutschten und hysterisch lachten💝

Another wonderful video. I'm amazed by your patience with this slow journey. You never cut corners to rush the process as I'm sure I would. ❤
Another beautiful video. Thank you so much. I look forward to your vegetable garden coming together. 😄
Beautiful scenery. I admire your imagination, craftsmanship and up-cycling. Your resourcefulness is great. The bread looked delicious.
I love watching you on UA-cam I wish you could post more, but I know you are tackling many projects. Love from Bucks County Pennsylvania❤️

Happy Sunday ❤️
It's a good idea to take your fingers and loosen up the roots on the bottom so they can incorporate into the dirt you put around them faster.
Nice to see the flower buds on the trees. Here in Colorado we have another month or two before we see anything like that. - Tony.

Excellent and relaxing, as always.
Happy Groundhog Day from the USA enjoying your efforts every time keep up the excellent work cheers!
How satisfying it was to see the wood router being placed into the makeshift box. 🙂
Nearly at the 100k❤️
Watching from a snow-covered landscape, just a little bit envious of those quince blossoms.
Lovely video!❤
Instead of spending a day making a box, I would have put the frame under the bench and put a tarp over it. It’s a very nice box though!😊
And much more practical.
Hi, you two! It's nice to see you back! How is your cat doing?
Lovely as always.Your fencing will have to be very strong, to keep out the boar. I never managed it in Spain, the big males just pushed through and dug up my veggies.
Wait. Didn't your Mom move in with you? Haven't seen her lately. I hope everything is alright!
Hi from Australia, try doing raised garden beds it saves you bending over.
Get it right….G’day from Australia🙄😎
Sorry to hear about kitty. So glad you are such good parents. Which kitty is it? I didn’t catch the name mentioned. Your videos are my weekly therapy. Thank you.
Cherry trees are a good choice in my opinion
I would also consider mulberry trees, they would thrive there
Hopefully drivers don't get so distracted coming around that corner and seeing the beautiful view that they veer off into the field!
❤
Happy to see your vlog this week! I was wondering, how is the hedge you planted, I think quite a while ago?
Cherry trees must be very very tasty to deer and rabbits and probably boar. Build fencing first. I love your digs though.
😊
Your video products is great. I think I would be interested in your thoughts and process on how you plan to develop your property. I know the Italian state some say in thing. All of that would be interesting to me.

Just curious , can you connext the Allpower to solar pannels? Liked the clouds in the beginning of the video and the box looks nice .
Absolutely yes! We'll be getting a solar panel from them soon to complete the setup :)
@@storiesfromthecascina Oke curious how that will work .I'm searching for a small device for my garden .

Does anyone know what brand of drone he uses!!! Beautiful views from such a height!!!
We use the dji mavic air 2s but it will need replacing this year probably. It's been doing a lot of work over the past 2 years.
@ Thank you it does a beautiful job!!!!
Loved the music track at the end. Can you let us know the artist?

I've just realized that most of these programs don't use flouresent lighting. Is there a reason for this?

I also wondered where she went. Last I knew she was moving in. 😊
The most unpleasant sound: chainsaws.
