Carson Steele is a beast. His 40 yard dash at UCLA Pro day was 4.52 seconds. His long distance speed was 20.9 MPH. Measured with GPS at the Shrine Bowl. He can carry opposing players into the end zone. His vertical jump is 37 inches and he led all running backs with the bench press event of 225 pounds for 28 lifts. He literally jumps over opposing defensive players or knocks them down.

Not quite 260lbs running a 4.45 like Christian Okoye, but he's probably quicker. I'm excited for this kid too. He should help with that 3rd and 1 run that seems to not work in KC.

I know he can help the team! He will be a great 3rd down guy. He can bulldoze his way through at least 2 defenders. Sometimes it takes 3 to bring him down. Just watch him in preseason and you'll find out.

Steele looks to be the much needed back-up to Pacheco. Chiefs saw enough of CEH last year to know he is not RB2, more a RB3 as injury insurance.
