It seemed like a good idea at the time...but, this weeder is not easy to use because you really have to smash it down hard to saturate the weed, leaving wasted weed killer all over the ground and picking up dirt and debris. You can't get the weeder damp enough to just swipe over the tall weeds growing over desirable plants. after about thirty minutes of frustrating work, it had dispensed less than 8 oz. Usually spray more than 12 gallons on my large lot to do the job. I give up! Now I need to decide whether to modify the tool with a sledge hammer or return it.

Why is the applicator sponge so long??? It should be a small square or circle. As is, I expect the applicator would be hitting a lot more than just the weed if I were using it in my lawn.

Hudson makes a small brush on a tube but it only holds a very small amount of solution.

Crappy workmanship. Leaked from both the bottom fitting and the top cap. I'm waiting for the tube to dry out, then I'll glue the damn fittings together

What a joke!
i shake my red weeder till my arm hurts and the pad is till dry
i use my hand sprayer to wet the red weeder pad then it works awesome
