Hello Nick, i know this video is very old. But i recently broke my aio board osd. Then saw this video followed ur instructions. And now i have osd and video again thru my goggles. Ur video tutorial help me a lot and saved me from buying a new flight controller. Thanks and more power to u. Keep sending it.. 😁😊
These little microVTX backpacks are awesome. Great for ditching heavier, hotter, more power hungry full size VTXs. Grab 'em, desolder 'em from the camera they come with and go nuts. They use virtually no power, have awesome features, and generally come with the CP! Also great that they run off of a tiny 1s for ages so you can fully separate power systems if you desired. Super interested in this OSD for voltage...
Did I do it right? imgur.com/a/D4L4Wv0 And can the yellow cable be any cable or does it have to be a special video cable? If so, where can I get one? Thanks for your quick answer btw^^
If I'm not using a 4-in-1 ESC on a 5", I'll always send my wires below the fc, so the gap between the frame and the FC is basically cable management like a PC case. Tape it all down after zip-tied, to keep vibes out of the gyro, of course. Otherwise, the wires above the FC can't be cleanly managed, will cause vibrations, and can hook branches, shingles, fingers, hair extensions, mammals, and Falcon 9 rockets. I only claim to build well.
I was actually looking for something like this the other day. I think I saw one other video like this but they did not explain it nearly as well as you just did. Thanks.
Hi Nick... Love your channel, one of my favorites! Always great info... And what a great backyard to fly in! Lol Question: I watched your excellent comparison of the eachine EF-02 and 275 aio camera's, so I know you are familiar with the EF-02. Do you know what each of the 3 pins are on it? Similar to the one you reviewed here but 3 pins are vertical. I appreciate your help! Keep up the good work! :)
Thanks! Just wanted to double check the pinout. Im using a 16mm f3 omnibus. I cant tell how big that board is, but mine has no writing at all. What was the final weight of your build?
Gotcha. I wanted to post a build video, but every time i film a build, something is defective or missing and there goes dozens of hours of useless video. So i just stopped filming. Especially micro builds. Such a pain filming small builds.
It just seems like such a cool device to stick on say an Eachine E010 micro sized TX and the like. What a winner, 'The Furibee F-36XE, live FPV in the palm of your hand'
Good video thanks. Im swapping the 25mw vtx cam off my spcmaker 2 inch 3s for one of these tx02's. This micro brushless is fast but camera range is awful. It basically runs out of video range on a short punch on 3s. Really appreciate this video.
Look at the wire map for that camera on the Aurora 100 and then video from camera to video in wire/pin and video out from minicube to video signal on the vtx.
Hi Nick, I have a couple of those LST AIO cameras and I found a video that shows one wire connected to the camera side and one connected to the vtx side but without cutting the conductive standoff like you did. It works fine but I'm not sure if it will damage the camera. Any ideas?
hi there,i'd like to put some audio in mine the same way you do for osd, do you think it could be done with this TX02 please? (thanks for this great vid)
YES! The TX01, 02, and 03 all have the same pinouts. I run a TX03 backpack in my Blade Torrent 110 with a RunCam Micro. Use 1s battery or 5v source. I think 6v is the max spec for these guys, but don't go over 5 realistically. 2.2v is min.
I need to make an osd camera system that I can add on top of my hubsan h502e , i dont want to buy a tx for that flight controller So is there an osd board that you can get some type of osd from that dosent need to be a flight controller also ?, one I can just hook up a 3.7 v lipo to then my tx03 as well and be able to get osd on the goggles of my rutforce vr-28
I had a question a few weeks back where they reference almost what your looking for. Unfortunately I don't recall the manufacturer or name of the component :(
Nick Burns hmmmm , could I possibly buy a voltage step up or step down and wire it between my hubsan h502e ( 2s 610mah 15c ) & a tinywhoop flight controller with the proper voltage it requires one with OSD of coarse ! then connect an fpv camera with OSD as well , think that would work ? , like instead of the tinywhoop flight controller in control of my husban its just going for along for the ride and I’m useing it to get osd , is it possible ? Please think hard
This is the 03 which is nearly identical www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?2777705-Eachine-TX03-0-25-50-200mW-Switchable-AIO-72CH-600TVL-1-3-CMOS-Camera-Free-Test/page12
From memory, its the top of the three pins. I was able to separate the pin but its very narrow in there, I used some jewlers tools to separate the video pin.
Gearbest has a camera to check out. www.gearbest.com/camera/pp_663679.html I just got it today, but it looks smaller than the cm275t. It does have an odd button on the back that could be problematic in a mount. Look at the pics of the wiring, this could be a way to safely try/test the cm257t. I will post some pics to instagram.
So how do I locate my video wire? I have this vtx www.amazon.com/5-8GHz-transmitter-600TVL-Antenna-Quadcopter/dp/B01MY814O4?tag=markepulse10-20 There is a 3 wire bridge??? on the side...I have batt voltage on the top and the middle and 3.3 volts on the outer 2....zero from middle to 3rd pin......is the thrid pin my video out?
the bridge should all be straight through. Typically video is the top pin or most center. The next is voltage and then negative. Also you can google the camera name and "wire map" or "pin out". Additionally if there is a part number printed on the cam we can google that for an image. As for the voltage reading, it will depend on what voltage the battery is that is plugged in.
I should elaborate a bit. The ground will have less voltage than the positive pin. The video would either be zero voltage or something lower than ground.
I took a chance...the top pin was positive....the second down was neg and the third...the one with lower than batt voltage was video.....cut it....did your one wire trick and tested....split the wire...connected to FC.....Shazzam....thatnk you
This board is garbage , I would stay away from it. Its just not worth your time money and headache. I was able to get it to arm once by turning off the accelerometer but eventually even that failed. Noobs will think that its them but trust me its not the board is just junk and even at $21.00 no one has that to just throw away only to have to eventually purchase another board because they can't get this one to work. I'm not putting this on you Nick as you do offer fair warning but yeah just save your money for something else thats verified to work well.
Nick Burns I have the (Eachine Minicube F3 6DOF Flight Controller V1.1 Intergrated Betaflight OSD 2-3S 20mm*20mm For Aurora 68 90 100) I say that because I believe they are the same board but mine looks different than the one you have above and was sold as a stand alone with no esc. I tried the oldest version of beta flight to the newest. Arming was the only function I could not get to work no matter what changes I made. There may be some obscure thing that needs to be done I would just like others to know there are better boards and it shouldn't be this complicated. If your a kid who's saved their allowance money on something like this, well it would be discouraging and a waste IMO.
Nick Burns oh no problem Nick I've been watching your videos for a while and always enjoy them. and to give you a much shorter answer yes I did try the latest 3.1.7. If there is a consensus that this board works for the majority of those who purchase it then I'm not above saying the problem must just be me.
Hello Nick, i know this video is very old. But i recently broke my aio board osd. Then saw this video followed ur instructions. And now i have osd and video again thru my goggles. Great info! Very useful. I think I could locate the video with a multi meter, but as you said, very nice to see someone actually do it.
Yes, a multi meter will allow us to track the pin out on all this AIOs.
Thank you so much for this video. Where do i have to solder the black and red cable to when I don't want to use an extra battery?
black to ground and red to 5 volt.
Did I do it right? imgur.com/a/D4L4Wv0
And can the yellow cable be any cable or does it have to be a special video cable? If so, where can I get one?
Thanks for your quick answer btw^^
Thanks for the video. I just got a few Eachine VT03 vtx’s and want to use osd.
Nice video, That beta flight OSD is sweet!
Nice video. What is that clay thing that you use to hold your board to solder looks very helpful.
Blutack from Bostick. It can be purchased on amazon and other large retailers.
Dear Nicks! In other videos folks cut the video jumper between cam and transm board. You did not? Does it works without cut?
Ok, it was a stupid question... I see now you cut is.
If I'm not using a 4-in-1 ESC on a 5", I'll always send my wires below the fc, so the gap between the frame and the FC is basically cable management like a PC case. Otherwise, the wires above the FC can't be cleanly managed, will cause vibrations, and can hook branches, shingles, fingers, hair extensions, mammals, and Falcon 9 rockets. I only claim to build well.
Yeah, there are probably dozens of vids doing this, but yours is better! Thanks!
Thank you
Love that tiny AIO camera. Amain has an awesome deal on them right now. Now I'm gonna add some OSD thanks to your vid. Well done
I was actually looking for something like this the other day. I think I saw one other video like this but they did not explain it nearly as well as you just did. Thanks.
dang, not first :). Glad I was able to make it clear.
This video just helped me out awesome job thanks
Hi Nick... Love your channel, one of my favorites! Always great info... And what a great backyard to fly in! Lol

Sorry I do not, but we can track the wire/pins to find out. Follow this www.rcgroups.com/forums/showpost.php?p=37319106&postcount=277
Thanks! Just wanted to double check the pinout. Im using a 16mm f3 omnibus. I cant tell how big that board is, but mine has no writing at all. What was the final weight of your build?
Boy this was so long ago I can't say, I suspect I gave it away shortly after building and tuning.
Gotcha. I wanted to post a build video, but every time i film a build, something is defective or missing and there goes dozens of hours of useless video. So i just stopped filming. Especially micro builds. Such a pain filming small builds.
I was staring at the GTeng the whole time !
Had never seen one before :)
lol, its been around awhile. pretty cool little companion.
It just seems like such a cool device to stick on say an Eachine E010 micro sized TX and the like.
What a winner, 'The Furibee F-36XE, live FPV in the palm of your hand'

we have plenty of tx options these days.
sweeeeeeeet ! osd is a great heads up for power time etc.. great video,s :)
Great video. Have you try Flip 32 Omnibus Mini board?
I do not. Actually was not aware of the mini.
great video trying to find a similar video on hooking up a vtx3 to the eachine minicube on a micro Aurora 100? Any tips?
Look at the wire map for that camera on the Aurora 100 and then video from camera to video in wire/pin and video out from minicube to video signal on the vtx.
Nick Burns
thanks I found the manual to the minicube and pin layout.

Yea, I have done that too. It doesn't have any negative impact.
@@NickBurnsFPV Good to know. Thank you!
hi there,i'd like to put some audio in mine the same way you do for osd, do you think it could be done with this TX02 please?
(thanks for this great vid)
I don't use on board audio. I record audio with a stationary camera and bring it in during video editing.
use the foam from the aio package to make a mount for the fpv cam !
many more fpv video soon
Beat me to it lol, I want to start my quad channel and wanted my first few vids in making a AIO and adding OSD and a motor/ESC Tester
sorry, doesn't mean you won't have a new method.
I got a new idea thanks to you.. 😀 no if only Bangood shipped faster lol
hi can i use mini F4 FController BEC 5v for aio Tx02 or Tx03 ? FC have 5v 500mA output but camera need with 200mW 330-740mA.
Thx this was great! Needed to do exactly what you did. Great channel.
Thank you for this great video.
I just did the same thing using the TX01. On this camera, where is the video pin in and out? is the same that TX02?
I believe it is the same. But beware, I have not verified.
You just saved me $16.99, thank for that! Liked...
Great.
Thanks Nick that's going to be sweet in my build
Spot on. Thanks Nick, really helpful.. 👍
does your vtx board get too hot that quick when you solder on it? i wanned to seperate my cam board and vtx
We we touch the board with the iron, yes. We got a burn mark, but no damage that affected the functionality.

Hunter Mclaughlin i want to do the same you did with a h501 ! how did things worked out for you ?
great idea. I didn't even think of that. good video and thank you for the tip. cheers!
lol i have the same wire snips from Amazon, love them. Great video!
Mine came misaligned :(, but they still work.
aww man, well they are still good for the price i guess
also set your small angle to 180. you can arm upside down.
set small_angle = 180
How did u know waht pin is Video?can u help me find out waht pin i need to split on a tx04?
Really need a bit of help please,
This is the 03 which is nearly identical www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?2777705-Eachine-TX03-0-25-50-200mW-Switchable-AIO-72CH-600TVL-1-3-CMOS-Camera-Free-Test/page12
Nick Burns thx bro. Thats waht i was locking for
Will this work on airplanes or is there a better set up for planes ?..Help
It would work for fixed wing, I can't comment on a "better" setup for fixed wing. I haven't flown fixed wing is sometime.
Nick Burns Thanks I will give it a try...
Thanks, really helpful!!!
Can you tell me if tx01 has the same pattern? I would like to add osd on it but i just have one camera to mess with :P
yes this line of vtx are all the same.
It worked ;) Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Can you power up the board in another way then with the usb
Alex Weijers it probably has the main pads somewhere on there
Hey Nick do you know where the video signal of the CM275T is??
Thank you
From memory, its the top of the three pins. I was able to separate the pin but its very narrow in there, I used some jewlers tools to separate the video pin.
Nick Burns but not sure i guess? Thank you anyway. I wanted to use this cam with the tenny1s fir my RKH 66 BLWhoop. So i'll go without OSD then maybe.

Nick Burns great Thank you.
Nice video bro
Nice Nick.. good to know. thanks
Nice one mate, just the info I needed. Peace! :-)
This goes the same for Pico X board?
as for the camera yes, each flight controller has different locations for video in and out refer to the flight controller pin map for that part.
What does OSD stand for?
On Screen Display
Will this osd board bind with spektrum sat?
No, as I said in the video. The receiver will have to be bound on another board and then connected to this board.
Nick Burns
Thank you
I’ll do this tomorrow) i have just received my micro fc with OSD
nice. Have fun
Most excellent. Thx
I thought that this can be good for upgrade my ARFUN Pro 95, nice infomation. thanks♡
Glad it was of use for you.
thanks

Is that the Chinese equivalent to the snoop dog song... It ain't nothin but a G-TENG baby!!!! Haha lol.. Yeah I kno it was lame!
ha, best one yet.
I tried something similar following this video: ua-cam.com/video/9MLkvf7adYw/v-deo.html
But I damage my VTX :(
I'm not very good at this.
that stinks, don't give up keep working on it.
This board is garbage , I would stay away from it. Its just not worth your time money and headache. I was able to get it to arm once by turning off the accelerometer but eventually even that failed. Don't get me wrong, I don't disagree with your experience. Just wondering if the arming difficulty I had could be confirmed to bf 3.1.7.
Nick Burns oh no problem Nick I've been watching your videos for a while and always enjoy them. and to give you a much shorter answer yes I did try the latest 3.1.7.
