    20 Gauge twisted wire is just perfect for the style of the Donut Pendent Wire wrap idea.... I love the way that looks.... I'll be aquiring this style of wire soon to make my own style wire wrap Donut pendants...

      Twisted wire is so fun when when you find just the right project that can really benefit from it. Simple but big structural wraps like this are a perfect place for a twisted look.

    Thank you for this awesome video!! I did it with bamboo cord and it looks just as beautiful on two ends of my aventurine donut and made it a choker!

      Oh that sounds beautiful. I haven't worked bamboo cord before but I bet it's a great match for this kind of look

    Love the Spin twist wire wrap style on the donut pendant. but would prefer to make my bail the size of my Sharpie Yellow High Lighter... Never-the- less the style is still Beautiful, Classic and Easy to achieve on your own...Super Awesome... Love it, Julie...

    Love your video, just wondering what happens to the ends do they stay put or do you need to apply a glue to hold together. Thanks😄

    • @beadaholique
      @beadaholique 4 роки тому

      They stay together well. The twisted structure of the strands give them strength and they don't tend to fray like cord does. A small dab of glue can provide extra security but shouldn't be necessary.

    Is the twisted 20 gauge easier than regular 20 gauge, because I'm having a hard time with the regular 20 gauge.

    Love the pre-twisted wire since I masacre my own hand made twists due to an old broken wrist. Now it is possible
    to give a donut agate gift pendant which could impress.::0)

    Am I allowed to use this pattern to put bails on my pendants to sell?

    • @beadaholique
      @beadaholique 3 роки тому

      Hi Hannah, thanks for asking about this. Generally we ask that people not make exact copies of any of the project pieces we demonstrate in our videos. They're intended for personal use and to be given as gifts. But we do encourage everyone to use the techniques you learn from our videos to make your own unique for-sale pieces. The wire wrapping shown here is really more of a technique than a distinct project, so feel to go ahead and include it in your pieces.

    Julie, when you give the instructions to pull the wire through the donut and "pull both wires straight up" you don't or if you do I missed it, say to have a short end and a long end or how long the short end should be. But it is a cute and quick bail.

    • @beadaholique
      @beadaholique 9 років тому +1

      Billy Perry Hi, I am sorry the instructions were unclear. You will want the short end to be around 3 - 4 inches and then the long end to be the rest of the length of your wire. I hope this clarifies things a bit.
