Thanks for this video,l'm having problem with golf 5 changed sensor twice,hi shows the same simptoms like when you pulled the cabels off.The fan is always running and shows the foult code p0118 over heating.Tomorow I will measure volts and ohms to see wirering.Do you know for some fuse or relay.
Interesting video. It looks as if you were programming the ECU to accept the resister values to display the temperature on the dash inside the car. This also seems to have stopped the fan coming on at the wrong time.
Make video: golf 7 instrument cluster pinout. PLEASE
Hi guys, can any one help me please, I have a similar problem with my golf 1.4 tsi auto 7.5 2019. From time to time the fan comes on at full speed and the temperature gage at the dashboard show very low or zero, when checking with diagnostic digital, it tells me ( cooling system performance). When clearing the fault, the fan speed go back to normal and you can see coolant temperature at the dash. Do you think that the sensor is faulty? Please respond. Regards
What's the mistake? Why did you put resistance?
To simulate a temperature for ecu. He wants to see what is the resistance of the sensor on different temperatures of the cooling liquid!
So what are you trying to show us here? Is the ect sensor bad or ecu is bad?
I think. need to show how to think about a malfunction in the car. I do experiments. for me personally, it's just to know what the resistance of the sensor is at what temperature without having a vw manual.
@@golfwagen4173 i'm watching your videos, but sometimes i don't understand well because you don't explain what you're doing! 😄
Hi, is that the only one temp sensor on the head ?
I was looking for an error on my clha 1.6tdi , that suggest a faulty water temp sensor ( coolant temperature r radeator outlet) cod u112300.
thank you
Thanks for your share. How many watts of the transistor? plus and minus connecting
