So cute! My 2 year old son also wakes up really early, usually between 4:30 and 5:30. It’s TOUGH! But he’s our 4th and last so we’re kind of ok with all the extra time we get to spend with him. I know that when he’s older, I won’t be missing the sleep I didn’t get. I’ll be missing his dimpled smile as he excitedly led me out to the trampoline at sunrise. ❤️

We are all about the dinosaurs over here! My son is almost 11 mos & has a cranial helmet that’s got dinosaurs painted all over it. I knew from the beginning that I wouldn’t be a neutral colored mom… his nursery is very colorful, yellow is my jam, but I didn’t think I’d be so into the dinosaurs. They’re definitely cute haha

You’re not crazy at all! I’m a pediatrician and incidentally, my kids are going through croup as well. They are usually worse at night when they’re lying down bec all their secretions are pooling at the back of their throat and it can also trigger their airway to be narrower hence, the frequent cough and being irritable..if it’s dry where you live, make sure his room has a humidifier. Suction all his secretions before bedtime and if you could make his head/chest part more elevated than his lower body, that would be better as well for him to sleep better. What I do is, I put a very thin pillow or some folded burp clothes under his sheets at the part where he puts his head/upper body. While with my older kid, I put her to her side and put a pillow behind her so she won’t go back to lying flat on her back. However, croup could also have a really short course. So it’s possible he could be healed immediately. Good for you! My kids have been sick for couple of weeks now.. started with colds and cough now they’re hoarse and almost have a barking cough. 🫤 praying this ends soon!
The only thing that made me think it wasn’t croup is it wasn’t even 2 days!? So weird! Basically two long nights and no daytime symptoms or mucus so I was wondering if it was a pollen allergy since we had been outside so much!
@@CelestRayanneMann it’s usually 3-4days if it doesn’t get complicated.. leading to bronchitis or pneumonia. But you’re right 2 days might be too short. 🫤 And he should’ve had some hoarseness or barking cough since it affects the larynx mainly.
Make sure his room is free from allergens too..(dust and scents/fragrance). Vacuum more often. Use air purifier if you have it and don’t use any powder or scented products which are common culprits that can trigger allergies. But if you’re outside often, it makes sense that his cough is due to seasonal allergies esp if you guys have allergic rhinitis/asthma in your family 😉

I’m a third time mom and my baby made me look crazy too! She had a terrible reaction to her vaccines at like 2 months and then by the time the dr and nurses checked on her at the ER she was 💯! I will say that was the most desperately I’ve ever prayed in my life and I credit it all to God because for her to have healed that quickly there is no way it wasn’t His work!
My neighbors hung small paper bags, brown ones, the bees left thinking it was another bees nest.
Another great one! I find that I am a little more ok with kids clothes with color in the summer, but then I go back to warm neutrals in the fall!😍🤣😍

i read you can combine clove, lemongrass and geranium essential oil. apply it to outer walls and crevices to keep them away. also just peppermint oil they dont like it.

I find that kids go through phases with eating/ appetite. That is actually a lot of breakfast food for his age 😉👍🏻👍🏻
