It's good therapy to see others who have "the disease", could have bought another Antares with what I've spent on long pegboard hooks. A few weeks ago I actually fished a small twitch bait picked up in Brazil four or five years ago that was just hanging there and it works fantastic... time to get a dozen more.

I have a k-bar pocket knife, it’s about 6-1/2 inches open. I’ve had it for 10 years. It’s awesome. I used to have the spider knifes. I used to get them for free. My ex wife worked with her uncle that sold military equipment and supplies to bases and surplus to the public. I got all kinds of cool stuff.

As someone who is in charge of processing and sending out product online I can tell you that the most likely reason they sent multiple boxes was because it came from multiple locations. Most of the time if we can’t fully fill the order on site then we send what we got and decline the rest so another location can send it. Yes it does eat away at the profit but that shipping cost is minimal compared to the reputation hit you take as a vendor if you can’t fulfill an order that you said you could. It’s the same reason why most retail places will give coupons\discounts for absolutely no reason. It hits the profit margin but keeps customer satisfaction high and keeps costumer retention high. Also what do you do for work that you always break your knives?
Appreciate the info bud. I own a truck washing business. Always needing to cut hoses, use the tip to pull out o rings, heck the other day I needed to get a valve off a tank so I put a blade on the face and beat it with a hammer to split it...snapped my blade in 2, but got it off. Lol

Just grabbed a bag of the new mid-sized rage bugs and a pack of the komodos in the same color you showed- for my firecraw chatter bait. I'm so ready for spring man- just maybe 3-4 weeks for me and we'll start having a few warmer days, the greenery will start coming back, and the fish will start pulling up- lookin' for love. Or, as Buckwheat would say "Wookin" pa nub"- hopefully in all the right places.

If you want to keep that Spyderco razor sharp, I recommend the Work Sharp precision adjust sharpening system and a Knives Plus strop block. I’m a big fan of S30V steel. Easy to sharpen and stays sharp for a long time. Digging the unboxing video, btw!

Just picked up those VMC pliers myself. Work well and really like that there are 2 compartments at the end of the handles to keep a few handy and not have to pull another bag or box out just for rings. Was looking at the curve and munch. What are your thoughts on the curve 55. I fish ultra shallow also and always looking for the real shallow runners.

As far of my favorite knife I love my kershaw link. It is 80 dollars for a very cool shade of green aluminum scales and 20cv widely considered as a super steel. It is a assisted flipper which many people complain about but I believe it is the same concept as a automatic knife but with a nicely placed flipper tab that can be used with either hand. The purchase is great and it’s got a stonewash finish with a unique modified drop point blade. (It almost looks like a hybrid between drop point and clip point). The detent is smooth enough and the liner lock is easily accessible and not to stiff. Overall, I love it lol.

I dont have any super expensive knives yet but my kid is into knives. He has a custom made titanium knife that was like $1200. As far as off the shelf he really likes the bench made knives. Most likely I'll be picking up a bench made soon.
I've been looking at Benchmade as well.
Those VMC crossover rings and pliers have saved me so many worms. I recommend a size 7mm. Seemed to work better than the 6mm. There is two compartments on the handle where you can store your rings. It should already have some in them. Love the unboxings dude. Great video TJ81!
