Stadion Utama Kalimantan Timur atau yang biasa dikenal dengan stadion Palaran, salah satu stadion terbesar yang pernah ada yang digunakan untuk PON 2008 silam, Sayangnya setelah PON berakhir, beberapa tahun belakangan, stadion dengan biaya 800 Miliyar lebih sempat mati suri atau terbengkalai... Alhamdulillah 1 Tahun belakang ini sudah mulai di perbaharui lagi karena salah satu jalur masuk TOL BALSAM ( Balikpapan-Samarinda)
