A visit to Aiden’s by Manee Cafe. This restaurant in Phonoapao Village in Vientiane, Laos has everything. There’s a 100 year old olive tree in front of the building. The coffee and food are good and there’s something for everyone at this place, including a kids playground. There’s even a library lounge on the second floor.
The three of us ordered coffee and lunch and the total came out to about $19 USD. I recommend this place.

I’m jealous, I was in Laos back in 2001. I loved the two weeks I was there. I stayed in the Vientiane and north in Muang Phon-Hong. I also spent two days and one night in Luang Prabang . I enjoyed being in the countryside and north of the city Vientiane the most, immersed in daily life and activities.
If I even go back to Laos , witch is on my bucket list I’ll be going to the Plain of Jars.
