- Keep the OEM look in general (steering wheel, seats, lights… etc)
- stick some wheels on her
- get a good suspension kit
- Turbo (not massive power, ex :320 hp ; if you go over kill it will ruin the car)
- mtech2 kit (It doesn’t look like it has an mtech kit on it, I think that the best one is the mtech2 kit if I remember correctly.)
If you don’t want to go the turbo route than the simple 328i crank swap from an e36 does wonders with some other bolt on stuff (my dads was doing 240 hp which is great fun in such a small light car ; plus you keep the atmospheric straight six love).

Please please please don’t ruin in with a v8 … it will become a bus with too much understeer and it just doesn’t do justice to the spirit of the car.

Convert the head from a 2.7 to a 2.9 stroker then turbo is ...u will enjoy and still admire that m20 engine.
